A Kittypet's Life

A young kittypet decides to go outside, which results in an adventure that makes him leader and means he leaves behind some friends and family. Meanwhile another young kittypet is taunted so badly that he turns into a monster. Each of these kittypets had hopes and dreams, and each of these kittypets has an untold story. This is my first fanfiction, and i'm only 11, so be gentle.

1. Chapter 1- Rusty's Dream

Rusty's Adventure

Light filtered through the clearing as Rusty sniffed the air. He thought he could pick up the scent of mouse, but it mingled with other strange scents of the forest. Suddenly, the trembling of a leaf caught his attention. Rusty stalked over, quiet as a snake, and smelled the air again. This time, the scent of mouse was very strong, and Rusty thought the mouse was under the trembling leaf. He got ready to pounce, but something startled the mouse, and it ran into the safety of its burrow. Just then, something rustled in the bushes. Suddenly, the smell of stale kibble filled his nose. He looked around and found a rotting mouse carcass emitting the smell.

Rusty woke up with a start, and found that the stale kibble smell was coming from his own bowl. Rusty thought that kittypet life was too boring to carry on with, so he decided he would go find out what mouse tasted like, and what the wild had in store for him.
