hey this is my first entry so far so don't be too hard on me.
prologue
there once was a kingdom that rested on an island in the middle of what we now know as the pacific ocean and this kingdom was called kallan named for the water surrounding it and the rivers that run all through the island. this kingdom was ruled by king Charles and shortly after his coronation he married a young woman that at the time had twin baby's and this woman's name was Jezebel and her children were a boy named Jason and a girl named Rapunzel the king and queen told their children that their father was the king. her mother had always told her that her favorite of roses features (as she often called Rapunzel) was her hair they would sit for hours talking as her mother brushed her hair they were very close and would do this often life for the twins was wonderful they didn't have a care in the world they loved there school and reading and that is how they filled there day and all the girls wanted to be friends with rose and to date Jason so they were never without company and Jason was even closer to the king then rose was to her mother they would go on walks together play chess and just spend every moment they could together. everything was great until the night before their twelfth birthday a woman named mara broke into the castle and told the twins that she had a birthday present for them but that they could only have it if they came with her right then and they thought nothing of it for they were used to people even if they had never seen them before give them gifts and so they went with her but it was so late that they fell asleep in a boat and the next thing they new they woke up in a tower with nothing but a bed a fire place and windows after about a week or so after they where taken when she recovered from the shock she swore that she wouldn't cut her hair until she saw her mother and father again but it took her brother months to recover and there they have stayed ever since.
