This is a plot bunny that's been floating around for a while, but I never got around to posting. I'm sure there will be one more Lexi's Revenge story – Arcee has remained untouched by these one-shots – but it might be a while before I post whatever Lexi is going to do to Arcee.
Anyway, I own only Lexi!
Lexi Bruner, mechanic, glared up at the yellow Autobot scout. Bumblebee, unaware of her anger, continued his conversation with Raf. Or maybe he was just pretending to be unaware.
I wanted Bee's help pranking Arcee, Lexi thought, frustrated. But he won't do it. He's probably scared of her. Suddenly, the mechanic's glare faded. A sly grin took its place. Maybe he should be scared of me, too…some blackmail material would be good to have… She started humming as she turned and skipped away.
She didn't notice Bee glance over his shoulder nervously. Lexi had hummed at Ratchet, and the medic had turned up full of Jell-O. then she'd hummed at Prime, and his translation software had been messed up. Then she'd hummed at Bulkhead, and he'd gotten a room full of stuffed scraplets.
And since he'd refused to help her prank Arcee…
Bumblebee was a very, very nervous mech.
Lexi waited until Bee took Raf home, then got out a box she'd been saving for an occasion exactly like this.
"Lexi, what are you doing?" Ratchet inquired curiously. What on Earth – or Cybertron – could the mechanic be planning to do with a fake beehive?
"I'm making Jell-O," the human woman answered easily. The medic twitched.
"I…I see…" he muttered, backing away hurriedly. He still didn't understand what the fake beehive was for, but if it had anything to do with that hateful gelatinous substance called 'Jell-O', he didn't want to be anywhere near Lexi for a long, long while. Said mechanic watched him go with a small smile. Then she shook her head and returned to her preparations, humming to herself.
Bumblebee looked around nervously as he reentered the Autobot base. It was getting late – he'd had to patrol after dropping Raf off at home – but he wasn't going to recharge. Not when Ratchet, Prime, and Bulkhead had all been pranked while recharging. The yellow mech stepped into his quarters, turned on the lights, and froze.
Someone had painted his quarters yellow – optic searing neon yellow – with black stripes. Little bumblebee stickers decorated the berth, and the pictures of his friends on the walls had been replaced with pictures of honeycombs and beehives.
All of that might not have been too bad, except that then something dropped onto Bee's helm. Afraid to reach up and touch whatever it was, Bee spotted a large mirror hanging beside the berth. Since when did he have a mirror?
Bee stepped closer, peered into the mirror…and saw what has on his help.
It was a huge (hopefully fake) beehive, with a sparkly tiara around the top, and two words written in glitter glue across the front:
Queen Bee
Across the base, Lexi hear Bee's wordless shriek and hummed softly. Maybe now he would help her with that prank she was planning for Arcee, seeing as how she's set up a video camera to record everything.
The mechanic would collect her blackmail material tomorrow morning. In the meantime, she decided, she had some plotting to do.
Okay, what does everyone think? Please review! Flames will be used to cook up more pranks and other silliness!
