Choji was sitting by Shikamaru eating chips when Ino walked up and garbed the bag and tossed it and she handed Choji a bag of carrots and celery Choji being Choji just ate the vegetables no problem that was the start of Ino's game of changing Choji , Choji being the nice guy he is just tolerated Ino while all Shikamaru said was troublesome
Chōza and Inoichi start talking about an arranged marriage between the clans because of how well their kids get along they don't even think to ask their kids what they would prefer
Ino and Shikamaru are always arguing or fighting when they are not on missions together Choji and Ino seem to get along well

the music is loud every one but Shikamaru and Choji are on the dance floor when the music stops and every thing is like in slow motion when Ino's dad walks up on the stage
both Shikamaru and Choji look at Ino with a sad smile and thumbs up
as Inoichi announces Ino's engagement to Choji, Choji doesn't smile or look terrified as he feels on the inside he just tries to make it work even as the custom of the a clans combining together puts them to live together from now on makes it hard to try gradually ,Ino comes home real late every night she takes extra shifts at the hospital just to avoid Choji she is making their predicament as hard as possible to tolerate they don't even talk as friends anymore Choji is so busy trying to deal with the difference in his life he doesn't even notice how since Ino's birthday party Shikamaru has avoided Choji. Choji is sent on a three week long mission he comes home a day early real late at night he stops by the door of his house she shares with Ino to senses a second Chakra signature in Ino's bedroom mixed with hers a familiar one Choji had just figured out that it was Shikamaru when he heard Shikamaru's name moaned and his signatory troublesome women Choji was tired of being used ,tired of being good old Choji ,so Choji left everything that he knew he didn't even look back at the village hidden in the leaves Choji lived a life much better then he would of in the leaf , he was happy and Choji eventually joined the Akatsuki as one of the best recruiters he could recruit some of the most reluctant people to the group their leader pein has just asked Choji if he wanted to find a partner just for him Choji said yes
Choji was told their was powerful ninja girl in the mist village who was very pretty and could cook he wanted a female partner it would of been easier for Itachi or Deidara then him but Choji wanted to get his own partner and he didn't want her to be forced to like him like Ino was he wanted to have a women who wanted him for himself
the ninja females name was grace and she looked sweet and kind with big pale green eyes and a nice rounded face with slightly chubby frame with long willowy legs and when she saw Choji she smiled and he smiled they were right she was beautiful and he didn't even have to say a word she just told him she would fallow him were ever he goes they went back to the base and stayed together as partners , teammates, best friends and lovers
