When I was writing this, I was thinking Ray/Salima, but, since there's no names, hair colors, eye colors or anything used, it can really be anyone. Anyone/Anyone. The only catch is, someone needs to wear a dress.
Disclaimer: I do not own Beyblade.
Enjoy!
Dance With Me
We're dancing in the rain. Your hands are at my waist and mine lay on your shoulders. We sway in time with an imaginary melody. Our bodies move like ghosts under the full moon. The night is cold, but we don't notice in the warmth of our embrace.
You hold my hand and twirl me, my white dress not fanning out because the rain's plastered to my body. I feel elegant anyway with that loving look you're giving me. You've always said you admire my beauty. I don't know what you see in me, but feel free to keep seeing it.
You dip me so low that my hair skims the ground. That moment lasts forever, you cradling me. You treat me like a fragile gift and keep me close to your heart. You'd think I'd be dizzy after hanging upside-down, but I'm not; you keep me sane.
We're back to swaying, barefoot, in the pouring rain. My feet are coated with mud. I look down and find that yours are, too, along with the bottoms of your pants. You don't seem to care; you're just as lost in the moment as I am.
You pick me up bridal style and spin me around. I support myself by wrapping my arms around your neck. Everything about this feels so right and I can't help but love you tonight. I always love you.
You put me down gently. Though my feet are back on solid ground, when you slip your arms around my waist and pull me close, I feel like I'm flying. I've kept my arms around your neck, by the way. I'm sure you know. I can sense that you like our new, closer proximity.
I can feel your heart beating and I know you must feel mine. I think mine skipped a beat when you kissed my forehead, just now. Did you feel it? Maybe you didn't notice because yours skipped at the same time.
You're leading me flawlessly in a dance that knows not how to stay in the physical realm; my soul, my heart, and my mind dance, too. I'm mesmerized.
I rest my head on your shoulder and whisper, "I love you." You whisper it, too, with your lips grazing my ear. I shiver – you're so close.
My head is now tilted up and yours is tilted down. I'm resting my cheek against yours, looking at the stars. I spot a shooting one and wish for more moments like this.
You kiss my lips passionately.
Give me more moments like this.
A/N: Embrace the fluff.
Like I said, this can really be used for any pairing. It's a short little thing, but I hope you like it just the same.
