"No, Magnus, we are not buying glitter paint for the baby's room." Alec sighed, as he looked at the cart in front of him. The shelves around him were ransacked. Magnus had somehow found a way to fit the entire aisle of glitter paint into the regularly small shopping cart.

"You promised me that I could have creative input in the décor of the baby's room!" Magnus whimpered, his teary eyes making him look strangely like a hurt kitten.

"Our child's wardrobe is entirely made up of clothing that is silk or bedazzled or both. You already installed a rotating make up stand filled with eyeliner and that "sparkling ivory" eye shadow crap you love. There are 30 adjustable lights installed in the vanity you insisted we add. I tolerated those things because I love you and your creativity in an important part of who you are. But I draw the line at neon glitter paint!" Alec whisper-yelled at Magnus. People had started to stare and it was making Alec uncomfortable.

"Because you made a point of expressing your love for me, I will compromise THIS ONCE," Magnus said with a mischievous smile and a twinkle in his eye, "But only because I love you too."

He gave Alec a peck on the cheek and removed all of the glitter paint from the cart.

"But we will continue this discussion later this evening."

"What else would we do?"
