What if during the Rebellion, Robert set his sights on another great house to fall...
The Bones family were located between the Riverlands and the South. The ruled during the reign of the Iron Kings, Winter Kings, Stormlords, and Dragonlords of Volaris before making a treaty with the Targaryens to not meddle in the affairs of King's Landing. The family were known to hold magic in their veins and have one on the best military knowledge and armies throughout Westeros.
Their signal was a white side-profile skull topped with a crown on a field of royal blue with 5 black stars underneath. The house words were: We who reign over the fallen. The prominent traits were dark hair, light olive skin, and light captivating eyes; they were built as warriors and hunters.
The rulers during Robert's Rebellion were King Sorien and Queen Latviana with their three children. Princess Mona the eldest, Prince Vallen being 2 years younger, and the littlest Princess Anya being only 2 years old at the time.
Their court was known as the "summer court" while having a winter castle for their "winter court". Their lives were happy and prosperous until Lannister and Baratheon soldiers came and killed all but Anya.
As the massacre played out in front of her, her magic was broiling until it burst out; killing all who intruded into her home.
When Robert, Jon Arryn, and Eddard "Ned" Stark came upon the scene with additional men to negotiate terms with the hostages of the castle; they saw flames, rubble, heard screams of pain and agony. They spied a dark silhouette of a child watching the fire with an expressionless, tear-stained face.
"What happened here?!" Robert dismounted and headed towards the child. Ned also dismounted to stop his friend from doing something stupid. The girl looked at the approaching man before turning back to her burning gardens.
'Mama...Papa...Momo...Vall...' she thought as a tear was shed. Robert grabbed her and repeated the question louder. The only reply he got was "They burned." from the tiny 2-yr. old. Ned was frozen before asking softly "Who burned?"
Anya shifted her eyes to the solemn-faced man. "The bad men. They made mama, papa, Momo, and Vall go night-night. I made them go away."
All three men were shocked silent from what she had said until Jon spotted the signal pendant around her neck. "She's part of the Bones house." he stated, looking now in disbelief that she was the cause of such a big aftermath.
"Princess Anya?" Ned questioned, now taking a closer look at her. Robert was fuming, "You did this?!" shaking the small girl. "Yes." was the quiet statement before exhaustion took over and put her to sleep.
