"Malfoy you really need to take a step back. Because right now I am not in the mood to deal with your arrogance!" A fierce fight could be heard coming from the astronomy tower. No one in their right mind was going to try and stop it. After all, it was between the most powerful wizard and witch Hogwarts had ever seen. You really didn't want to be caught in that cross fire.
"Now why would I want to do that? After all, a powerful wizard like me doesn't back down to a weak mudblood like you. Your nothing more than filth beneath my feat."
"Listen hear you ferret. I may be muggle born but that does not give you a right to insult me. And as for you being powerful. The only incantations you can actually cast are the illegal ones. Too bad for you your dads in Azkaban and isn't around to appreciate it. But don't worry, im sure Voldemort will be very proud."
"You know something Granger. Everyone may think your smart, but the only things you know are those that are written down in books. You don't know anything about me. But yea, I guess your right, Voldemort' a slight raise to his eyebrow was the only movement he made besides his lips as he said the most feared wizard of all times name 'will be proud."
"You'll turn out to be a death eater just like your father. I hope you both rot in the same cell."
"Leave my father out of this."
"Why would I do that? After all its not like you can do anything about it."
"Oh I don't have to do anything. I have... friends."
"Now Malfoy, who do you think your kidding? We both know you don't have friends. Their either allies or enemies."
"You don't have to worry about that Granger. You'll always be my enemy."
"Who said I wanted to be anything more than that?"
"You want to know something Granger?"
"Not if it comes from the likes of you."
"Well then I guess your gonna be disappointed. Cause yes. It is from 'the likes of me'. One day. Your going to be very sorry you caused me so much annoyance."
"Is that a threat Malfoy?"
"Take it however you want to Granger."
"Whatever Malfoy."
Throughout there entire fight they never noticed Dumbledore accidently drop a glowing ball no larger than a golf ball onto the astronomy tower floor. And accidently not see it as it rolled between the two arguing students, bathing them in a pail gold light before they disappeared.
"Were did they go?" asked a bewildered Dumbledore. The surprised look on his face was slightly diminished by the fact that his eyes were twinkling so bright they almost seemed to shine.
