That Easy?

Uzumaki Naruto and Uchiha Sasuke stood face to face; both their shoulders slumped down from exhaustion. Naruto breathed heavily, a dark blush covering his cheeks. Sasuke blinked away the sweat drops which made their way down from his wet hair and over his eyes. Naruto briefly closed his eyes and then looked down, gazing at the big wound he had got in his stomach from one of Sasuke's Chidori's. He looked up very angrily at his long lost rival.

"That's… it," he breathed out. He straightened his back and gave Sasuke a determinded look. "I'm sick… of this crap!"

Sasuke barely raised an eyebrow.

"What… are you… talking about… dobe?!" Sasuke tried to sound normal, but failed. He settled the ending of the sentence with a smirk, but failed that to, as his face begun to quiver from the mere movement.

Great.

"This…'I won't…won't come…back'….- crap!" Naruto pressed out from his lungs. "I'm out of here," he muttered and spit one time on the ground before leaving Sasuke behind. Sasuke narrowed his eyes and straightened his back too. Was the dobe leaving? He couldn't do that? He had promised Sakura and the whole fucking village he would get Sasuke back. And Naruto wasn't the one to give up – he fucking never did! And why give up after a 6 year long chase?

But all this didn't change the fact that Naruto's back became smaller and smaller as he walked away.

"Naruto! Come back here!" Sasuke gave a trying scream. The boy didn't stop, nor did he falter his steps. "Na…Naruto?" Another three steps. "Dobe?" Desperate. Nothing.

Sasuke looked around. They were alone in the woods, and he couldn't get help from anyone. He took a trying step at the opposite direction. And a step closer to Naruto's retreating back. And another one in the same direction. He rose a hesitate hand, but stopped.

Fuck.

The raven placed his hands on his hips and sighed. He shot one glare over his shoulder one more time. Then he ran forward.

"Naruto! Wait for me! I'm coming back!" Naruto turned around, and even Sasuke could see he was pissed.

"You are coming back?!" Naruto screamed. "You are fucking coming back?! After all this time?! You know what, Uchiha? FUCK YOU!" And Naruto begun to run away, leaving a dumbfounded Sasuke.

What had he done wrong now?

He shook his head and ran after Naruto.

"Oi, Naruto! Wait for me! I'm right behind you! Naruto! NARUTO!"

(And yes, Sasuke did indeed follow Naruto to Konoha. Apparently, it was that easy.)
