STATUE OF LIBERTY

You can see a lonely, heart-broken figure coming off the Carpathia. That is the figure of Rose DeWitt Bukater. She chose the love of someone she truely love rather than all the miserable wealth she can have once she marry Caledon Hockley.

The day she arrives in New York is rainy, Rose, who still has the pink dress and the black coat on the day Titanic sank, stand out there, with nothing between the rain and her, is standing in front of the Statue of Liberty, looks up at it, and thinks, "Oh. It sure is a sign of freedom. And I really like the color. Green," green is her eyes' color, which Jack likes looking at. Rose really wishes that Hack could have been right there with her, holding her hand. She knows Jack watches it from heaven, but Rose just thinks it's not the same.

She hasn't realizes that an officer is coming toward her way. The officer asks in a British accent, "May I have your name please, love?"

Rose looks at him for awhile, then finally says, "Dawson," looks back up to the statue as the officer records it down on his clipboard, "Rose Dawson," and with a Thank You to Rose, he hurries off to record other survivors' names.

Rose puts her hand in the coat's pocket, fingers something, then takes it out. It is the Heart of the Ocean. She makes a vow to herself right there, that she will not sell the necklace even in the hardest time, she will rather work for it than sell the necklace. She decides to keep it as a reminder of Titanic, Cal, her family, her past, and most importantly, Jack.

Who knows what happen during her life? But I can tell you that what she does when she gets old is a whole new, different story. Something that is so amazing and lead her back to her past again.

"Rose Dawson," Rose says.

The End.
