A day at the park
To him she was just another kid he met at the park. But to her he was her first friend near her age ever. percabeth one shot, bit of thaluke if you squint.
Thalia's pov
There were no monsters attacking today and we were getting close to camp so we decided to celebrate with a day in central park.
Annabeth ran ahead to the play ground. There were lots of kids her age there maybe she'll make some friends. Luke grabbed my hand and started pulling me to the ice cream stand.
Wile Luke bought some sweets I turned to see what Annabeth was up to. She and a boy her age were on the swings talking. Good maybe if she has a friend her age even for a day she'll act 7 not 12.
I was brought back from my fantasy of Annie acting her age when Luke asked me what ice cream I wanted and what kind I thought Annabeth wanted. As I was choosing we heard a yelp we turned half expecting a monster to be attacking but no. Annabeth and the boy she was talking to earlier were sparing with sticks. I guess you can't get a demigod who has ever battled to find much fun in any thing else. After paying we walked back to give Annabeth her's, the two kids were laughing and playing like old friends, I smiled at that. Luke and I sat on the swings and wached the kids who were now on the monkey bars. Soon the boy's mom came over to them and decided it was time for them to go. Soon after we left too.
Annabeth's pov
I had so much fun today. It made me sad when my friend had to leave.
Luke tried to convince me he was just a boy at the park but he was special I could tell. He was my first friend other then Thalia and Luke.
Percy's pov
She was beautiful.
I had instantly became her friend. She probably wouldn't remember any thing about me because she was just another kid I met at the park.
Annabeth's pov- when Percy arrives at camp.
There was a new camper so I went to the big house to meet them. Chiron told me he was in the infirmary. As I neared the bed he was asleep in I instantly recognized him. It was him the boy from the park all those years ago. My first friend my age.
