Author Note: This is my first fic so please be nice! I got this random idea out no where, and no Anna is NOT a Mary Sue (EW. Throws up at the thought of it).

Chapter One: Are You Ready For This?

Raising a child wasn't the easiest thing in the world, but for a child with no Father, it was the hardest thing for a Mother to do. For the past six years, Anna Tierney had been living on her own as a single mother. At first she constantly reminded her self she had it coming, but her main question of thought was are you ready for this?

She worked a job as a journalist for one of the biggest magazine corporations in the country, and had a comfortable lifestyle. But no one knew her past, no one. Her past wasn't something she was all too willing to share about. It was a simple don't-ask-because-I'm-not-going-to-tell-you type thing.

She had her daughter enrolled in prestigious private school, which only the best-of-the-best got into it. She was making damn sure her daughter was going to make a success of her life no matter what. She was determined to give her everything that she needed for that success.

However, when Christmas time rolled around, the one thing Anna couldn't give her daughter was her father. Her father didn't know about her, and as far as Anna thought, he wouldn't care either.

Bobby Mercer had been the first and last mistake of her life. The only good that had come from it was their daughter, Isabella. Bobby wasn't abusive at all in anyway, he was just stupid, a typical man. He cheated on her, not one, but three times. She had berated herself since the day she let him off the hook the first time.

But though their relationship had their problems, Anna didn't want the heartbreak that came with them. So she left, for good. She tried to contact Bobby when Isabella was born, but when she did work up enough courage to call him. No one other than his girlfriend/fiancé answered his phone.

She was a kind and sweet girl, who could turn into psycho-bitch in two-point-five- seconds. The moment his fiancé realized that a girl had just called her fiancés phone, well let's just say it wasn't pretty.

After that happening, Anna decided it was in her best interest to keep this tid-bit from him. In her eyes it wasn't like she was hurting him but she couldn't help but feel bad for Isabella who had to grow up with out a father. She had tried dating, but once the guy found out about her child, he split.

And so after two years of hopeless relationship searching, Anna gave up. And ever since then it had been just her and Isabella. But that was all about to change, because some where in the universe Anna's stars were being re-written, and nothing could prepare her for what was to come.
