The Used; Buried Myself Alive
As Ryou walked down the cracked cement on a gusty Autumn day, he felt raging anger drown into a bottomless pit of sadness.
His brown eyes grew moist as if threatening to spill over if the wind delivered another icy blow to his exposed face.; that and the bout of depression overwhelming him.
It was like Bakura always picked the best times to say it's over and he wasn't coming home. Ryou wasn't going to be some weak pathetic pushover this time, he wasn't going to cry.
It wasn't a suprise either; Ryou could always see the flashing red lights of warning, and the false alarms signaling the end to a fucked up realationship. But this time it was for real...
Ryou was sick of Bakura playing him like a game; he was kind of sick of himself for excepting Bakura's game, and playing along with it.
Well this time Ryou wasn't going to watch himself die, crumple up and die. There were others, and he wasn't going to remain clinging onto Bakura for yet another chance to get dumped all over again.
All the other times Ryou buried himself alive on the inside, wallowing in a pit of self pity, so he could shut Bakura off, and be alone trapped inside his head.
Ryou thought it was quite alright he puked the other day; relics of a hangover. He also thought it was quite alright Bakura trapped himself in another way.
Trapping himself among many bodies to make himself feel good, always thinking of Ryou...
But if he wanted Ryou back, he was going to have to ask himself.
Now fans of The Used know this was based on the first half of Buried Myself Alive. Not much to say, I just have to finish my 3rd Chappie to IBYMBYBMYL, so my fans can FINNALY know what happens lol.
