I stared out my bedroom window, thinking.
-His devilish side:
What are you? You have wronged so many people in your life. Humans, fairies, animals even the world! What kind of genius are you? You can't even solve global warming! You kidnapped Holly while you were enemies and lied to her when she was your best friend! You sold a lemur! You caused Butler's death, and almost exploited the People. And now, you won't even leave them alone. You're no friend!
-His angelish side
You apologized to Holly, and she forgave you for both things. No one has solved global warming, what are you even talking about. You can't stop it, only delay it. About the lemur, you were messed up. And you didn't know that the Spirro meeting would cause Butler's death and near exploitation of the People, but you set both right. And it's not like you pester the fairies.
-His devilish side:
Kidnapping and lying about a deadly illness of someone she knows? Yup, cause that is so forgivable. And anyone can stop global warming, you just don't want to. You're too lazy. And like being messed up is an excuse for selling a lemur. And honestly. Like you didn't know that a meeting with a ruthless American businessman would be disastrous, especially with fairy technology. And you do pester them, all the time.
-His angelish side
If Holly forgave you, obviously it is forgivable. And about the global warming thing, don't beat yourself up about the global warming thing. An idea will come when it will come. And back then, you didn't have a moral guide, you only wanted money. That's for the lemur and the Spiro thing. Plus, you went back and saved the lemur. And you don't pester them, you talk to them. Now stop and turn that negative energy into positive things.
I had an idea. I would stop global warming. I just needed an idea.
I would stop the glaciers from melting, saving the world and those poor baby polar bears.
The gears in my head started turning.
Save the world. Save it. I must.
I started tapping my fingers on the windowsill.
One, two, three, four, five.
One, two, three, four, five.
One, two, three, four, five.
One, two, three, four, five.
One, two, three, four, five.
I got an idea. Now to perfect it.
Artemis stared out his bedroom window, thinking.
Yeah, um... this was one of the first things I wrote. Not my best, but whatever. As for the shortness, I refer to my previous statment. Lots of my earlier work was extremely short. In case you couldn't tell, it takes place before TAC. Also, angelish is not a word apparently.
And for the baby polar bears...
I LOVE BABY POLAR BEARS! LOVE 'EM! THEY ARE ADORABLE! WHY IS THIS SO IMPORTANT THAT I HAVE TO BOLD, ITALICIZE AND CAPITALIZE IT? I'LL STOP NOW!
Yeah, sorry about that. But they are soooo cute! To anyone who hunts them (I don't know why anyone would but just in case) shame on you for ruining the cuteness of the Arctic! For shame!
