The Beginning
"How is she doing?"
"Still the same."
"It's my fault you know."
"No you couldn't have prevented this." Screams could be heard far away as the two men shook. "That has to feel terrible." Another man walked in.
"What happened?" he asked
"I'll tell you, but first let me say that it wasn't pretty…" He wiped a tear from his eye and another long shrill screamed echoed throughout the building followed by short breaths and a longer moan.
"It was a dangerous mission…"
