Starfire's PoV
Lightning cracked across the dismal sky and they walked in silence, the team had split up to stop Slade. She didn't like it when Robin got angry, the last time he had become obsessed with finding Slade. That time she had feared she would lose him as he grew distant. And she was equally fearful to lose him again. "Fear not Robin, we WILL stop him," she exclaimed, hoping for him to be positive. "We have no other choice..." Robin said menacingly and her hopes fell. The communicator rang, he picked it up and it was as she feared. His face grew more and more angry as he heard the reports back from the Titans. His face was a picture of anger and madness, his features wild and drenched by the rain. "I told them EXACTLY where Slade hid the generators, I should have gone for them myself!" He shouted, anger riddling his voice. Making Starfire feel empty in her stomach and full of fear. She deeply cared for him and hated to see him like this. "They will be found Robin, you must have faith in your..." But before she could say another word he walked on angrily ahead as she picked up his discarded communicator.
Suddenly she saw him break of into a sprint, so fast she could not keep up. She tore through the wood, through branches that tore at her face and the rain whipping across her back. She let out a shiver to feel her soaked hair on her back and the cold seep into her skin, but ran on. Hearing explosions and sounds of a struggle, she ran even faster, towards the clearing. She arrived to see him on the floor, the lightning roaring and the storm rumbling. "Robin!" She cried as she looked at the empty space before her. "Starfire, STOP HIM!" He yelled. She didn't see anyone but him, glancing around in confusion. He ran next to her and she could tell he was furious. He was seething, his mouth curled into a snarl. She desperately tried to see, but could not... Suddenly he grabbed her arm violently. " What happened?!" He shouted. She gasped at his painful grip on her arm and his hateful face. "You are hurting me..." she said. His grip didn't waver. She grew more and more afraid, this wasn't like Robin at all. His face was so close to hers and she could see his mask was wide, and realised the pain shooting up her arm. But that pain was nothing compared to the hurt she felt inside. "Slade ran RIGHT by you, how could you let him get AWAY!" He yelled, breathing raggedly and throwing his arm out while yanking hers. She flinched and tears threatened to burst out her eyes but she shook her head. " But... Robin, there was no one there," she choked out. His face turned from angry to frustrated confusion. She was afraid she had failed him...Starfire's PoV
