What a gloomy day it was. Like the rain was bringing down tears I would soon shed. The clouds were a dark grey covering every last bit of the sky. No sun. Not even one bit of hope. The girl with brunette short hair that was wrapped in pig tails slowly walked up to the boy with green hair who was hitting a tree for his next battling match.

"Drew… Can I ask you some questions?" The girl asked the boy. Drew, the green head, turned away from the beaten tree and leaned on it.

"How many in particular?" He asked earning a sad glance, but it didn't seem to affect him, only on the inside.

"Exactly ten questions" She sighed and looked to the ground, more likely her red hoodie pocket. "Would you save me if I fell off a cliff?"

"No"

Her mouth was wide.

"Would you help me if I got kidnapped or raped?"

"No"

Her teeth were biting her lip.

"Would you congratulate me if I made my dreams come true?"

"No"

She hissed.

"Would you care for my wounds if I had any?"

"No"

She groaned.

"Would you donate blood to me?"

"No"

She couldn't cry. This was going so bad for her. But she needed five more questions to be answered. She wanted all this to be over, all over and gone.

"Would you cry if I died?"

"No"

Squeak.

"Would you die for me?"

"No"

Ouch.

"Would you stand up for me if someone bullied me?"

"No"

Sigh.

"Would you take the blame for me?"

"No"

Last one, better be worth it.

"Do you love me?"

Instead of answering he walked away. She couldn't take it anymore. She did what she was doing throughout all these questions. She slit her last finger down to the center of her palm. Her knees felt wobbly and she fell in the mud.

She didn't care if she left this pity excuse for a life. She took out her hands and inspected them, bloody and worth nothing. He doesn't love her; she doesn't want to be here. He doesn't care, she doesn't care. But all in all, she still loves his.

"May!" She heard a manly shout, she looked up. Drew. "It's time for my questions! Why would you do that?"

"Because I wanted to know" She answered, looking down in her lap, tears sliding down from her eyes carefree.

"Know what?"

"If you really did love me, it doesn't seem like you do" She got up and tried to walked away but couldn't and fell down. She started to cry out loud.

She felt arms wrap around her but didn't look behind. She knew exactly who it was and didn't want to meet his gaze. "May… don't ever try that again… you're like Dawn… how Paul calls her… Troublesome" He squeezed her tighter as she cried louder than before.

"D-Drew… why would you say that?" May coked in a gasp of air. She wanted to know but part of her didn't.

"May, I was lying! I love you very much!" Drew exclaimed.

"Then why did you say that?"

"Because I thought you were going to make fun of me! I didn't want everybody to know if you didn't love me back!" Drew sighed and looked at those sapphire eyes that seemed to sparkle every time he looked at her. "You look so ugly when you cry… but I still love you" He smiled as he whipped away her tears.

"I promise I'll never try it again!" She smiled and pecked his cheek with her lips. He blushed a bright red like the blood on her fingers.

"I'll clean you up" He nodded as he carried her back to his house because she couldn't walk. "You are really heavy!" He groaned.

"You're gonna ruin the moment" She said as she playfully slapped his head.

"Hey! I was kidding!" He chuckled.

Hum... I like this one :3 R&R!
