Almost like a second mom!
It's the second year at college and summer-holiday is four weeks away. Miley and Lilly are in their dorm-room and are about to go to sleep so they are strong and ready for the big exam next day.
"Miley, I can't sleep!" says Lilly.
"Oh, but I was very close to fallin' asleep so shut it, okey?" says Miley.
"Sorry..." says Lilly.
"Good night, Lils!" says Miley.
"Good night, Miley!" says Lilly.
15 minutes later Lilly is still awake and she is in her bed looking at the photo of Oliver on her nightstand.
"Aaww, Ollie-Pop!" says Lilly out loud.
"Sweet niblets!" says Miley. "Lilly, I'm tryin' to sleep over here!"
"I know and I wanna sleep too, but I can't..." says Lilly.
"Okey, but if you're gonna stay awake all night at least shut your mouth so I can sleep!" says Miley who is not that happy about Lilly keeping her awake.
"Miley, I don't know why I can't sleep..." says Lilly in a sad voice. "Maybe I'm a little nervous about the exam tomorrow."
"Yeah, maybe..." says Miley. "Wait, I know something that might help!"
"What...?" says Lilly.
"When I was a little kid and couldn't sleep my mom used to sing lullabies." says Miley as she walk over to Lilly's bed and sit down next to her friend.
"I'm a second year college-woman, Miley! I think I'm a little too old for a lullaby!" says Lilly.
"Maybe, but at least it's worth a try." says Miley.
"If it was anyone else other than you I'd say no, but you're my best friend so go on, Miley. Sing for me!" says Lilly.
"Okey!" says Miley as she gently brush away some hair from Lilly's face.
Miley put on her best mother's smile and begin to sing in a soft voice.
So little Lilly, now don't you cry. Miley can make you some pumpkin pie. And if the pie doesn't taste that good, Miley can get you some other kind of food.
Soon Lilly fall asleep with a cute little smile on her face.
"Aaww, Lilly!" says Miley as she give Lilly a small kiss on the forehead.
Miley walk back to her own bed and soon she fall asleep.
The next day on the way to first class Lilly hand Miley a small piece of paper. On it is a short message written with Lilly's cute handwriting. It says: Miley, thanks for the lullaby! You're almost like a second mom to me!
"You know that I'm always there for ya, Lils!" says Miley as she give Lilly a hug.
"Miley, you're the best friend ever!" says Lilly with a smile.
"Thanks, Lilly!" says Miley.
