Disclaimer: if I owned Doctor Who I would make this a scene. Now it isn't therefore I don't own it.
It was like any old day on the TARDIS. Adventure, almost get killed, no one dies, pit stop, blah blah blah. Except that the pit stop was taking longer than the Doctor expected.
"We must of used a lot of energy, she's completely drained." The Doctor explained softly patting the console.
"Well, how much time do you think it will take?" Rose asked.
"I don't know. Maybe and hour or two," he replied.
"What do you want to do to pass the time?"
"Well, considering we are in the middle of space, I suggest something indoors." He said with a look that said he was thinking, deeply.
"I know! Let's play truth or dare!" Rose exclaimed.
"Huh? What's that?"
"You have got to be kidding me. You've traveled millions of places throughout time and space, and you have know idea what truth or dare is?" Rose asked with a look of disbelief.
"Yep." Was his brilliant reply.
"Well then, looks like I get to teach you. Truth or Dare is game where you ask a person if they would rather pick a question and answer it truthfully, or to do anything the other person wants them to do, it's a dare. You can't back out of the dare though, if you do, the other person get's to pick a more embarrassing on." Rose explained.
"Sounds fun! Let's play, I'll go first. Rose, truth or dare?" the Doctor asked excitedly.
"Truth."
"Have you ever, um, seen Star Wars?"
"Nope, I was going to watch it once but something came up."
"What? That's one of the best movies of all time!"
"Anyway, my turn." She said.
"Dare." And with that the pink and yellow human had an evil smirk on her face.
"I dare you to eat a pear. While wearing a pink tutu and fairy wings."
"No"
"You have to, it's part of the game." She pointed out.
"Fine."
Somehow, the Doctor found a fairy costume and a pear. He put on the tutu and wings, as he looked at the pear, he frowned in disgust.
"Do I have to?" he asked begging.
"Yep."
As he took his first bite he almost spit it out. It was disgusting! Out of nowhere a flash of light came from a phone, held by a certain blonde companion.
"Rose!" The Doctor protested.
"Hahahaha!" Rose laughed as she looked at the picture on her phone.
"Your turn!" The Doctor exclaimed.
"Fine, I'll do dare."
"I dare you to kiss me."
At that the blonde stopped dead in her tracks. She had grown a certain feeling for her timelord friend. The way he laughed and would take her anywhere. She knew she loved him more than anything else in the world. She couldn't go anywhere with out thinking about the many things that make him brilliant. All day she would think about him. During their adventures, she would often get sidetracked just starting at him. The feeling of butterflies that came every time he took her hand. He made her day when she was down; he made her heart feel warm when he looked at her. She felt like she was higher than the clouds when he looked into her eyes. She loved him, and she knew it.
"Rose, earth to Rose?"
"Oh, yeah, sorry got sidetracked."
And then she closed the gap between them. At first he was shocked, then he reacted. He put his hands around her waist and pulled her closer. Rose deepened the kiss. They stayed like that for a while. Slowly The Doctor pushed Rose up against the console; she jumped up and wrapped her legs around him. When they stopped fro air the Doctor slowly pulled away.
"Well, that was something." He said, surprise on his face.
"Yeah." Rose said breathing heavily. They just stayed there looking at each other for a few moments. Just taking in the closeness of the two. All of a sudden the TARIDS roared back to life and started to fly off to an unknown planet.
"Now, Rose Tyler, let us go see what's behind those doors." The Doctor said, smiling. He took her hand and pulled the doors open.
"Allons-y!"
