Camping! Bedtime (Stuart Trio)

Logan can't stop tossing in the cramped bunk. He's a sprawling sleeper and the tiny bed won't accommodate his long limbs. So every time he tries to stretch he bumps his head or feet or arms hang off the sides. The bunk shakes with his frustrated tossing. Nick is unfortunate enough to occupy the bunk above Logan. He can't sleep either, the mini earthquakes jolting him awake. There is an angry huffing monster under his bed, literally.

Poor Nick, maybe it's the hour, maybe it's the exhaustion. But he's finally had enough and peers over the side of the bunk and whispers harshly,"Dude, I'm trying to sleep here. Could you please tone down the tossing?"

All Logan has to do is narrow his eyes and Nick belatedly remembers who he's talking to. "…..Or not. Whatever suits you..." he adds hesitantly and disappears back.

Derek snorts from the bunk next to him. He reaches down to shake the already sleeping Julian curled under the covers. The worn springs of the mattress squeak loudly as Julian bounces with the movement.

"Whaa….?" Julian swats his arm away, raising his head from the pillow.

"Lo can't sleep" Derek states. As if that explains everything.

"Mmm…..M not singing a lullaby." Julian grouses blearily before burying his head back into his pillow.

"He's going to be bitch in the morning." "Don't care…" Julian mumbles. "I can hear you guys." Logan warns them.

Sighing, Julian forces himself awake to look over at his grumpy other half. He takes in the sight of Logan; he's lying on his back, one arm under his head, the other dangling over the side. One foot peeks out from under the too small blanket, also hanging over the end and the other leg is uncovered the foot flat on the cold floor. He looks truly miserable.

"Oh for crying out loud." Julian pushes himself off the bed. Derek starts to climb down form the bunk above. Together they push their bunk beds towards Logan's and Nick's, joining the two into one large bunk. The legs scrape noisily across the wooden floor waking almost everyone else up. But Derek and Julian don't seem to notice.

Once done, Derek climbs back up coming face to face with a much closer and wide-eyed Nick. "Would you prefer to switch with Julian?" Derek quirks an eyebrow. "Nope. Good night." Nick squeaks.
