Be Myself
Why they don't see?
I just wanna be like you
And I try and try and try
I just wanna be like you
But I'm sorry, I can't
Even If I still try and try
I won't be like you
I try and try and try
I got it wrong
I make a mess
But I try
Why can't you see I try?
Maybe I shouldn't try
Maybe I'm not like you
But if I'm not
What am I?
No friends, no family
And I try and try
In the end all goes to waste
Because I'm not like you
I'm different
I'm unique
And maybe that's not bad
But maybe not
Maybe I'm not what you want
Could I wish I am?
No, no more
I am myself
And that's good
I'm unique
Even if not like you
I'm myself
I'm different
Maybe I'm not alone
I know I'm not alone
There are others as unique as me
Why can't you see that?
I'll be free, I'll be fine
I'm myself
And maybe that's not bad
If you see it, that's not bad
Why they don't see?
I just gonna be myself
Even if they don't see it
Even if I'm by myself
I'll be fine, I'll be free
