This stupid red liquid courses through my body,
Wickedly keeping us apart.
It flows freely without a care,
Never knowing the pain and ruin within my heart.
We are one, connected at the soul.
Our passion causes so much strife.
Who cares that my blood is pure and yours is not?
For you are the love of my life.
This stupid red liquid boils within my veins
Flamed by your kiss, your touch, your loving caress…
This stupid red liquid makes me feel such guilt and shame.
Confused, your love is driving me insane.
Why, oh why does our blood keep us apart?
Within my heart, we are meant to be,
So no matter what others say….
This stupid red liquid doesn't matter to me.
