The world begins to disappear around me. I feel the throbbing in my chest. I want Tobias right now, I want Tobias to come say goodbye. Instead I see my mother come out behind the chair that is now Davids deathbed.
"Mother? Is that really you? Your dead" I say to her.
"Beatrice, my wonderful darling, you have done so well." She responds.
I can hear Caleb banging on the door screaming, "Let me in Mathew!"
"Please, I don't want to leave no, Its not my time, I promise!" I say to her as I begin to tear up.
"Beatrice, Its time to go" she says to me as she starts to smooth out my hair.
"What about my friends? Will they come?" I ask as I am sobbing. "Please let me wait for Tobias," I ask pleadingly as I continue to cry.
"Someday. Someday, I promise" She says as she offers me into her arms, but this time, I don't object.
I then take my last look at the world as my mother continues to smoothen out my hair as I sob. The room begins to darken as I try to make my last moments last for eternity. I then go with my mother into a room I don't recognize.
I look down at my body as Tobias comes.
