He is Cute.

Yumi looked at the mail she was about to send. She thought it over for a moment and then closed the lid of her cell phone without sending it. There would be no way he would go for that. It would look too much like they were on a date.

"Satou-san..."

Yumi turned to find just the person she was thinking about behind her, talking to the girl he's had his eyes on. They looked so cute together. Too bad Miwako doesn't see that he's head-over-heels for her...not that she doesn't like him just as much.

She watched as he whispered in her ear, no doubt trying to make plans to go somewhere on their day off without having the whole police squad evesdropping, but he knows it's inevitable.

Miwako's lips curved into a smile and nodded a reply to the whispered plans. After this, she walked off to get back to work. Yumi thought about closing in on the man to get him to do something sweet for her, but then decided against it. That man seemed to be in a daze by the reply. There was no reaching him at this particular moment.

"Takagi-kun...," Megure-keibu walked in. This didn't look like a good sign. Yumi put a quarter into the coffee machine behind her for an excuse to watch. "Takagi-kun...TAKAGI-KUN!"

Takagi snapped out of his trance and stumbled, "ah..Hai?"

"Ran-kun just called in again," Megure gave Takagi an irritated look, "looks like there's been a murder down at Haido City Hotel. Come on!"

"Y-Yes sir!" He stuttered. He tripped over his feet as he hurriedly tried to follow.

Yumi giggled at the site. Takagi was so cute.

AN: A cute little plunny that attacked me at 5am (when I was trying to go to bed). After seeing a few Metropolitan Police Love Stories, I suspect that Yumi might have a slight crush on Takagi. So I thought I might try and get in her head a little. I hope it sounds ok, and in character for somebody who is hardly ever on screen.

Anyway, hope you enjoyed it.

Also, I was going to find a place that the murder is taking place from an actual case from the show, but, as usual, clicking on random episodes ended up giving me the exact episodes that I didn't need...(that and it's almost 6am. I need to be asleep)
