The lights shined brightly in the dark, night sky onto the huge field below. The crowd was loud from the minute they started piling into the stadium an hour ago. The score showed on boards posted around on the walls, giving everyone a reminder of the time that the teams playing had to win the match.

On the field, the standard sized game ball flew to one side of the field as the american team's goal keeper had punted it to keep the ball in play. The opposing team, the british, had quickly recovered the ball with a hit to the chest. The ball slid down the slim looking brit and straight to his feet. He looked up to see his options and crossed the ball to the mid-forward who carried the ball to the half-line until it was swiftly taken away by the opposing team.

The american forward carried the ball up to the box until it was taken by the green eyed englishman who currently played the position of defender. The defender then made his way past the half-line and the forwards of the united states team and kicked the ball around the mid-fielder who played on the left wing, making a quick spin as to not trip over the on coming slide-tackle and continued on his way towards his goal.

He cunningly made his way past the bulky defender who stood in his way by quickly popping the ball clean over the defenders head as he came straight towards him and barely dodged the man before he could be thrown back to the ground and took the ball between his feet. The only one standing in his way now was the the dirty-blond, almost brown haired goal keeper whose glasses hung loosely at the end of the bridge of his nose, as he no time to push them back up.

The englishman looked for all possible openings to score a point on the seemingly blank scoreboard as neither team had a point yet. Making the quick decision, he hoped to hit the bottom tip of the cross bar for the ball to ricochet off of it and towards the back of the goal, finally scoring a point for his team.

He ran to the edge of the box and kicked with all of his might, aiming for the one spot. Once the ball left his reach, he stared intently hoping for the best. When the ball reach the cross-bar...
