It was a boring Saturday in Mobius.

Well for Bean.

Instead of doing the things he always did, like blowing things up and hunting people down for shinies, he seemed to be flopped upside down and watch time go by. Bark, silently sitting next to his green feathered companion on the couch, since he didn't have anything to do himself, wondered why he was like this. He also noticed he didn't do the things he usually did, which was very peculiar to Bark. The things Bean normmally do never ceases to entertain him, until today that is. So he sat alongside his friend on the couch, watching and wasting time, hoping to find an reason to this as well as an solution for the duck's "other" odd behavior.

Finally, Bean spoke up.

"Bark?"

The polarbear blinked. Finally! "Yes?"

"I'm bored."

Like he didn't noticed. Bark snickered. "Oh, me too."

The two was silent for a few seconds. At the same time, Nack came in from the door, laying bags of money on the carpet floor, grinning and thinking how rich he was gonna get. After a moment of celebrating his committed sin and greed, he noticed his two mercenaries silent on the couch.

"Well! It's so silent today. Why aren't'cha yapping as usual, Bean?" Bark's silence was a common thing.

Bean sat upright from the couch and sighed, "I'm bored."

"Oh, really?" This actually surprised the weasel. Of all the times, he had never seen or heard Bean saying he was so bored. The nitwit always had SOMETHING to do.

"Well, I'm not bored like you, I got somethin' to do!" He smirked. Bean and Bark looked behind him and saw the bags of money Nack stolen from the bank. "Countin' money, that is!"

That didn't help Bean. Bean was unimpressed and sighed.

"I don't feel like doing anything I always do normally, if you guys get me."

This statement shocked both Bark and Nack. Well, maybe more of Bark than Nack.

Bark stared beside him, in amazement. This was not the Bean he always knew. He was annoying, hyper, crazy, and idiotic but Bean would not say ANYTHING like that. Well maybe. But this was actually surprising to Bark. For once (maybe) in his life, Bean would probably do something smart. But Bean is unexpected. You never know what would happen.

"Well, whadd'ya have in mind, Bean?"

Bark NEVER heard that from Nack, either.

"Well, shinies are still shiny and pretty to me, but I don't wanna find them right now. Hmm... oh yeah!" Bean suddenly jumped off the couch. "I wanna go beat-up some random person!" Suddenly, his smile fell. "Wait.. no... did that. Plus, that was last Thursday's agenda."

After several thoughts from the duck, Nack stopped listening. Bark had gotten impatient as well and instead suggested, "...we can go to the park?"

Bean grinned. That's the kind of smile Bark liked to see.

"Great idea buddy! This was your very first greatest idea! Which is strange... 'cos I always make the best ideas," Bean grinned, beak widening. Bark rolled his eyes and got up, a little proud of himself. He found something for his friend to do, which would probably bring his old self back.

He smiled a little himself. The ecstatic duck opened the door and skipped out, humming happily.

Bark followed, but stopped and turned around. "You coming, Nack?" He actually knew Nack would never want to indulge in something as childish as this, but it would be, well, "nice" to ask.

"Me? Like I said, I got countin' to do."

That's that. Bark shrugged and closed the door.
