My first posted story. Took me forever to figure put how to post, I had to ask AnimeBabe456. Thanks by the way!! I do need ideas and stuff tho.

This came to me one night when I was half asleep, I don't usually write yaoi. Even if Naruto and Sasuke were together, they probably wouldn't be sleeping in the same bed, room, or house. I do mean normal sleeping, not sex scenes. Well, here it is, enjoy!

….…If I were dying?..…..

"No…. no…NO!!" he screamed, it went on like this for a while until….

"Naruto, Naruto?" Sasuke put his hand on Naruto's shoulder; he immediately stopped and opened his eyes.

"……Huh," he put his hand to his face, "am I crying?"

"I think you were having a nightmare, a-are you ok?" Sasuke sat up.

"Eh, yes…. I, err…. I'm ok. Now."

"Do you want to…talk about it?" Sasuke's eyes filled with concern, a look only Naruto has had the luxury to see.

"No, it will bring back memories you may not want to relive."

"Huh? Naruto, you can tell me anything."

"No just,"he started crying, "go back to sleep. Please."

"If you don't tell me, I'll figure it out later." He kissed his boyfriend's cheek.

"Yes, I know. He won't take it as hard if you figure it out" Naruto said solemnly

"What? Naruto, you…good night."

Naruto fell asleep instantly and almost as soon as he fell asleep, another nightmare was setting in. Sasuke, all the while, thinking, worrying, remembering.

Sasuke's thoughts…

Naruto, this has never happened before. What's wrong? It seems to bother me more than it bothers you. What the hell's wrong with you?

When Sasuke woke up at 5:45,Naruto was already up and gone. Naruto wasn't usually up until 7:00 or later."What happened to him?" Naruto wasn't seen for the whole day. By the time Sasuke found him at 8:00 that night, he was in an old tree, staring at nothing.

"Naruto, last night and all of today, you've been gone or acting weird."

"…" Was Naruto's reply? Nothing, his caring boyfriend is here and Naruto's answer is nothing.

"I'm going to see Gaara, although I don't mean to be cold."

"Sasuke, I love you. Don't leave."

"I-I love you too, and I'll never leave you." Sasuke kissed Naruto, Naruto kissed back.

When they finally broke, "Sasuke, what would you do if I died?"

His eyes got wide,"Nothing…"

"Oh, ok. I- "

"…Because I'll never let you die" Sasuke put his arm around Naruto's waist.

"Thank you. I don't know if that's entirely true though."

"Why is that?" he said with a smirk, thinking he was kidding.

"Just don't leave me…teme"

"I never will, dobe"

Well, that was sucky. I don't have a taste for that lemon crap. This was just a really crappy starter story. I didn't think id even actually post it, of course, once I figured out how. Plz comment!!
