A/N- Please, please, please review this! I think it is slightly decent and I really want to know what you all think!
"Dean, wait! Put on your coat. I don't want you getting sick," Mary Winchester told her youngest son who had recently turned four. He gave her an exasperated look, exaggerating the expression as little kids are known to do. She grinned at him and watched as he carelessly slung on his coat and rushed outside into the pouring rain. She shifted her hold on the sleepy and cranky baby Sammy. It was past time for a nap but Sammy could wait for one minute as she watched his older brother splash in the growing puddles, tilting his head back and catching the fat droplets.
Sammy shifted slightly and whimpered. Mary hummed a familiar nursery tune. Sam settled in her arms and lay quiet for minute. Mary continued to hum, watching her eldest son laugh and skip happily in the rain.
Dean twirled around and around underneath the Kansas sky. Raindrops splattered and created puddles in the streets and on the sidewalks. Dean splashed through them, not a care in the world.
Only one other was outside during the rainstorm. Their neighbor, Mr. Thompson. He stood in the doorway and watched the little kid spin and lose his balance, all while Dean was cracking up at some untold joke only Dean understood. Not a care in the world…That will all change tonight. Mr. Thompson grinned evilly and his eyes yellow as he glanced from the pretty little Mary, to bratty, in the way, Dean, and then let his gaze linger on special baby Sammy. Oh little Sammy do I have plans for you. What had once been Mr. Thompson went back inside and closed the door.
A/N- All right, please review!
