"Arthur! I've almost forgotten!"

Before he knew it, Molly had run up to the girls' dormitory and had come scurrying back, a lumpy package in hand. She handed it to him, blushing slightly.

He unwrapped it, revealing a clumsily knitted wool sweater the color of the evening sky.

Arthur looked up. Molly was redder than he had ever seen her. "I've been practicing. Not very good, really, I hope you don't mind."

Arthur smiled. "I think it's amazing." Molly smiled back, and he set the sweater down, reaching into his pocket. "I have something for you, too." He pulled out a small velvet box the color of the night sky.

Molly took the box, looking up at him, uncertain. Certainly not, she thought, and then, as Arthur blushed, of course...

But her thoughts were interrupted when she opened the box; inside, on a smooth sheet of silk lay a small ring with a sapphire in the middle, two sparkling ambers on its side in the shape of crescent moons. Molly could tell it was enchanted and that he had spent a little too much money on it than he should have.

She felt tears coming to her eyes as she took it out. The inside of it read Arthurbee and Mollywobbles, for-ever, and even this twinkled with what she assumed must be small stars.

She looked up to Arthur, holding the ring awkwardly above her ring finger. "Will you --"

But she interrupted him. "Oh, Arthur!" she sobbed, throwing her arms around him. "Yes!"

Moments later, they were leaving the portrait hole, listening to the Fat Lady yell drunkenly. "Come back! Christmas, you know, hic!, need a little company. What's this? --"

The couple, though, wasn't listening. They were talking avidly of their wedding, walking hand-in-hand, just stars on the map of the evening sky.
