We have One Inch,
One Inch that does not care who we are,
Where we live,
Who we love,
Who we hate,
What we've done.
One Inch where we are safe from harm,
Safe from fear,
Safe from love,
Safe from hate,
Safe from life and death itself.
One Inch that always fights for us,
Fights for right,
Fights for love,
Fights for hate,
Fights for freedom.
Even if that Inch seems to fade,
Seems to break,
Seems to be all alone,
It will always be there, going strong.
I know every Inch of life,
And it knows every Inch of me.
Except one.
When we die, every Inch of us shall perish.
Except one.
The one that we will always keep.
The one that does not care,
The one that protects us,
