Nick didn't need anything special to be the one Judy loved.
Nick just needed to be someone who Judy could turn to when things went wrong or when she needed support.
Someone who would pick Judy up when she was down or bring her to her senses when she got riled up about something on track.
Nick didn't need to have supermammal abilities, or the fairytale qualities of lovers in the thousands of books Judy has read, he just needed to be Nick.
The Nick who makes Judy laugh.
The Nick who makes Judy smile.
The Nick who could push her to be the best.
The Nick who Judy could kiss, all soft and gentle, and make fall apart under her touch.
Just Nick being Nick. No one special, no one amazing. Just the fox Judy would happily spend the rest of her life with.
Nothing else was needed. Nick was just perfect like that.
