MISSING SCENE FROM ABBY NORMAL!
After a wonderful night out on the…sand, the castaways head into their separate tents. Lex had already left an hour ago, while the other six had just sat and talked to one another. Mainly their dancing partners. At last as Taylor began to doze off, Eric declared that they ought to go to sleep.
"Couldn't agree more" Jackson said yawning. He got up and stretched. He then reached back down to help Melissa up. She blushed and accepted his offer.
"Thanks." She said smiling at him.
"Oh, you're welcome!" Jackson said grinning. He was still holding her hand. Melissa had noticed this, but liked it better this way.
"Yeah, we should get going. Early day tomorrow" Daley said also standing up, and offering Nathan her hand.
"Yeah, early day every day." Nathan muttered as he stood up with the help of Daley.
"How do you suggest we take Taylor?" Daley asked Melissa, who shrugged and bent down to try and wake her.
"No, no I got her." Eric said confidently. He bent down and gently shook her.
"Taylor." he whispered.
She didn't move.
"Taylor…" Eric tried again. She still didn't move.
"Wow, she must already be asleep." Nathan said.
"I got her." Eric assured. And with that he sat down next to Taylor and hoisted her over his shoulder and started to make his way back to the campsite.
The other four just looked at each other, each thinking the same thing.
"Huh, never seen that side of Eric before." Jackson stated as he started to lead Melissa up the path behind Eric.
Now only Daley and Nathan were left.
"We should go…" Nathan said as he looked at the vast ocean behind Daley.
"Yeah"
The two of them started back to camp, behind the soft voices of Melissa and Jackson.
Outside the tent, Eric stood still holding Taylor, debating whether or not he should take her into the tent, or wait for the girls to come back. He looked at the trail and didn't see anyone coming, so he decided to go in and lay Taylor down on her sleeping bag. As he did so, Taylor shifted in her sleep.
"Eric…?" She mumbled sleepily.
Eric froze.
"Yeah?" he asked nervously.
"Thanks." Taylor breathed before drifting off into sleep once again.
Eric smiled, said "You're welcome" and backed slowly out of the tent.
Outside, Nathan and Daley were saying their goodnights.
"Where are Jackson and Melissa?" Eric inquired.
"They're not back yet?" Daley asked looking concerned.
"No…"
"Well we shouldn't worry too much, they're together. They'll be safe." Nathan assured Daley.
"Yeah, you're right. Good night." She said smiling at Nathan and heading into the girls tent.
"Night." Nathan softly called behind her. He then also headed into the tent.
Eric looked around one last time, then headed in after Nathan.
Just as Eric's white sock disappeared into the tent, Jackson crept out from behind a tree, still holding Melissa's hand, and led her towards the tents.
"Uh…so, nice night." Jackson said breaking the comfortable silence.
"Yeah, great for…dancing" Melissa blushed, but was thankful that it was to dark for Jackson to see.
But Jackson saw her blush, due to the dim moonlight that was cast over them
He leaned in closer to Melissa "goodnight Mel" he breathed as he kissed her cheek.
"Good night Jackson." Melissa said returning the kiss.
The two began heading towards their tents, holding hands just until the fingertips. When they were to far away to keep holding, they slowly let go.
Well, what do you think? Should this have happened, or am I just pushing it? Be honest! Maybe not something exactly like this, but something to show how the night ended. Reviews are welcome :) And btw, I'm not to big on fluff, but sometimes I get an idea I know some people will like.
