The Pre-Date Dilemma

This is my first time doing Fanfiction so be nice and review:)

...

"Ouch…ugh" muttered Hermione, obviously annoyed, she stared into the mirror and sighed dramatically. There in her bushy brown hair was her pink hair brush, stuck. She methodically began to detangle her hair from the brush intent on free it. After a few unsuccessful minutes she remembered she was a witch. She quickly did a detangling spell and turned to her friend and current girlfriend of Harry Potter, whose face was bright red from holding in her giggles.

"Honestly Ginny this is beginning to become a hazard to my health."

"Why Hermione, I say you've been improving" Ginny said with a strangely straight face "You poked your right eye four times, you poked your left eye nine times at least."

Hermione groaned, she was nervous this was her and Ron's first official date and being a perfectionist she wanted it to be perfect. She had called in Ginny as moral support and her fashion guru. Normally she was quite composed, Hermione had fought in the Battle Of Hogwarts, so naturally she had nerves of steel. Give her a dangerous mission or a battle strategy but what or how to look on a date; she crumbled.

Finally she admitted defeat and turned to Ginny, she motioned her over to fix her hair/make-up. After a few minutes, Ginny finished.

"Gosh, Hermione you look hot!" gushed Ginny, with a bright smile.

"Thanks Ginny." blushed Hermione.

Ginny turned around and grabbed some clothes and shoved them at Hermione.

"Try these on Hermione"

Grabbing the shirt and skirt Hermione walked to her bathroom and tried on the glothes. She gasped, the black tank top fit in all the right places, showing off a fair amout of her chest. The short lacey skirt fell just short off mid-thigh. She had to admit she looked good. She sighed and slid down to the ground. She looked good but she didn't look like Hermione Granger, the girl that Ron had watched and eventually fallen in love with. Ron thought she looked good after she was covered in soot and blood. He would like her without a pound of make-up caked on her face and her body in fewer clothes. She did a removal spell on her face, and grabbed her original clothing. Jeans and a jumper. She left the bathroom to find a stunned Ginny.

"Hermione…not that you don't..but why'd you, not that its…well ," Ginny stumbled over her words.

Hermione bluntly stated, "Ginny not that I don't appreciate the makeover but Rin likes this me, not the other version."

Ginny said softly," That's sweet, mione"

The girls turned as the whooshing of the fire placed announced the arrival of the boys.

…..

Ron a nervous had through his fiery red hair, his palms were clammy and he kept glancing over at his best mate. Harry who had been dragged away from his home and brought along for moral/mental support, sighed and attempted to give him some advice.

"Calm down mate your going on a date not getting married."

Ron took a deep breath, "Your right calm down,"

Harry grinned "Ya got it mate!"

But after a moment Rons head shot up "What if well ya know, I don't want to mess this up."

Harry grinned again "Ron the secret to the perfect first date is simple all you need to do is…"

Before he could finish Hermione, followed by Ginny came down the stairs. Ron quickly glanced at Harry as though through legitimacy trying to find out the answer. When Ron saw her his mouth dropped, open and stayed open.

"Honestly Ronald clothes your mouth," Hermione chided with a teasing smile.

"Wow Mione, you look..wow"

"You ready?" questioned Hermione, "Where are we going by the way?"

"I got tickets to a Chudley Cannons match, their supposed to do really well this year!"

"RONALD WEASLEY!"
