"Mom I have something to tell you." Rory said standing up while looking at her mother. "Yeah, Rory?" Lorelai said in a soft tone. "I said yes!" Rory said. "Rory I'm going to need a little more information." "Mom, I said yes to Dean, we are getting married." Rory said. Lorelai just stood there looking at her shocked and amazed. "Rory you aren't going to throw you career and life away that easily, I won't allow it!" Yelled Lorelai. "Well too bad, we love eachother and I don't need your say in anything I do, I'm graduating this year and Dean and I can figure these things out this summer!" Rory said while walking towards her room. "No you aren't, Missy, becuase I forbid you to see him ever again!" Lorelai said. Rory slammed the door behind her and they didn't say a word to eachother till the next morning.
"Rory, I don't want you doing this to yourself, you guys are too young and you still have Yale to go to." Her mother said waiting for Rory to answer. "Mom, please stop saying all those things we can support eachother, he has a job and Grandpa is paying for Yale, we can get an apartment off campus." Rory said. "We probably won't get totally married until after I graduate from Yale, but still." Rory said walking out the door for her last day of Chilton before summer vacation. "I'm ready mom." Rory said walking out the door. "No you aren't." said Lorelai very unhappy.
Rory was walking into town towards the bus and Dean said, "Don't go." "Dean I have to go, I can't miss school, I'm almost done oh and I told my mom about us." Rory said looking down. "Rory, please I need you with me forever." "Dean don't do this right now, I'll see you after school, and besides you have to go to." Rory said walking past him towards the bus. "Rory, please!" dean said walking towards her to kiss her. "Dean, I'm sorry, I have to go." and she kissed him and left.
It was after school now and Rory felt bad for not going with Dean but she knew she had to get her finals, so she can be with Dean. Dean saw her coming to the market and he rushed outside and kissed her. "Hello!" Rory said smiling. "Hello!" Dean said also smiling. She loved him so much all she wanted to do was be with him for now on, but they had to wait until she graduated from college to get married, but she didn't want to, she wanted it now. "Dean I want to get married, right now!" Rory said. "I do too, but we have to wait till after college." Dean said. "Dean, I know what I want, and that is you!" Rory wanted to kiss him so badly and forever. Lorelai came up the block to go to Luke's. "Rory, lts go!" Lorelai said not with a smile on may I add. "Mom I want to be with him!" "Well I don't, you are too young, Rory." Lorelai and Rory went at eachother about the whole 'MARRIAGE' thing, until they went to bed.
"Dean can we please do this now!" Rory said letting dean into the house when he caome over for movie night. But Dean thought it would be better to talk about it another time so he didn't answer her. Lorelai decided that she wasn't going to let the proposal ruin movie night. "So did you get the pizza and junk food?" Lorelai asked Dean as he was coming through the door into the living room. "Mom we have to tell you something important about Dean and I, and something or someone else." Rory said quietly.
