Poetic Conversation
yamitammy I don't own anything that doesn't belong to me.
Tamara was walking through the park and decided to stop in a café for lunch. Suddenly, she noticed Bakura Ryou sitting at one of the tables. When she had a closer look, she noticed that Bakura had barely touched his food. 'Maybe he isn't hungry,' Tamara thought to herself. She knew Bakura so she decided to talk to him. "Hi, Bakura," Tamara greeted. "Oh, hello, Tamara." Bakura said, and then trailed off into silence. Tamara looked puzzled. Suddenly she noticed that Bakura had small tears falling from his eyes. "I don't like seeing you sad Please don't cry Here have this tissue Wipe those tears from your eyes Tell me what's the matter Are you hurt Did somebody push you Into the dirt Did somebody say goodbye A friend or family Oh no please don't cry again Here you can hug me." Bakura moved out of his seat and embraced Tamara. He sniffled. "I guess I can't hide it, can I?" Tamara nodded. "No, you can't. Please tell me why you're crying." "I'm crying for my mother And my sister Amane Before I was sixteen They had to go away My father's hardly ever home I have an evil yami He told me 'I'll protect you' But instead he enslaved me I have to do his bidding He tortures me night and day I wish I could get rid of the ring Then I'd finally be safe Every night I dream about The ones I truly love Father, now in Egypt Mother and Amane, in heavens above I haven't seen my closest friends For almost a year I'm too sad to go on I want to cry another tear." Bakura started to cry again in Tamara's arms. "Dear friend it's alright I truly know your pain I'll embrace you while you sit there Tears falling like light rain I guess it's best to let it out Cry all that you need Don't forget that people still love you These words you've got to heed." Tamara rubbed Bakura's back to offer comfort. Bakura sniffled again, and smiled sadly. "Tamara, you're a true friend." "I'll always help you." "I know, Tam, and I thank you For helping with my pain With your help and kindness I have more hope again." Tamara smiled. "I truly appreciate your help." "Hey, Bakura, it's alright I'm glad I could help you Bakura, I'm happy you feel all right More hopeful than before too Come along my friend let's go out Into the sun and play Sharing emotions with your friends Chases the blues away." Bakura sat up and smiled, wiping away his last tears. "Are you okay?" Bakura nodded. Tamara smiled. "Tamara, I thank you with all my heart And with my pure soul Because I've talked I'm not empty In fact, my heart is whole." Tamara stood up. "Are you coming?" Bakura nodded. "I'll be there in a second." After eating some of his food, he stood up and followed Tamara. Both walked along the street and to the lake, both feeling happy and hopeful for themselves and each other. The End
