DISCLAIMER: I don't own MASH...otherwise it would be very slashy...well, more slashy!
I wrote this to explore the extent of Radar's ESP and to delve slightly deeper into the personal lives of the 4077th. I'm quite pleased with this and I even managed to squeeze my OTPs into it ;-)
So, without further ado, please read and review!
My radar is at the same time really good and really bad. I can predict things minutes, sometimes even hours before they happen, I can tell if someone is lying to me (not that I catch them out but it is good to know these things). But I can also see into people's most private thoughts. Most of the time, I just tune it out like a radio.
But sometimes…sometimes the feelings are so strong that I just can't block them out no matter how hard I try. I know something personal about every single member of this camp, stuff that they keep really secret…stuff that they are afraid to tell other people.
I know that when Henry was CO his biggest fear was being killed in action. Hawkeye would say that that was 'cruel irony' or something smart like that.
I know that at his worst, Trapper considered suicide. It was a good thing he got discharged when he did or else…well it gives me goose bumps just thinking about it.
I know about Hawkeye and Trapper's affair. I know that Hawkeye cried himself to sleep for weeks after Trapper left.
I know that Major Burns thought that he was a bad father.
I know that Colonel Potter regrets joining the army at 15.
I know that Klinger worries that he wears his dresses for more than just a Section 8.
I know that Father Mulcahy lost his faith a few months after he got to Korea.
I know that at night Major Houlihan misses Major Burns so much that she cries even though she's in love with Major Winchester.
I know that Major Winchester is jealous of BJ and Hawkeye.
I know that Hawkeye hates his mother for dying.
I know that BJ's name is Benjamin Jacob. And I know he wants to feel guilty about his relationship with Hawkeye but doesn't.
Yea…I know a lot about the people of the 4077th that nobody else does. But I'm not going to tell a living soul.
END
Reviews are much appreciated.
Until next time!
