"Bastard..." Deidara growled kicking a stone that had just tripped him over. Deidara was in a bad mood because he had got woken up early AND been sent out on a mission all own his own, and there was only one thing he hated more than being woken up early and that was being on his own. Damn

He had been walking for almost two hours and Deidara had to eventually find somewhere to stay for the night. As he slowly trudged into a small town east of the village hidden in the grass, he saw him, that young teenager who would start off to be his enemy and end up being his lover.

Gai's team

Rock lee stared at the suspicious blond looking stranger walking past him in a black cloak with red clouds on it, the collar was covering most of his face.
"lee...??" he heard Gai-sensei call his name.
yes?" Lee muttered in reply but not looking at his sensei due to the fact that he couldn't turn away from the man who had just walked into the small inn they were standing in front of.

SMACK

"Damn it Lee listen to what we're talking about!" Tenten shouted glaring at Lee.
Lee span round and rubbed is head where Tenten had hit him.

"I'm sorry gai-sensei!"`Lee yelled saluting his sensei for some unknown reason.
"ah well that is okay Lee but now we shall go forth for a place to slumber!" Gai yelled in response as him and Lee marched into the inn.

Neji and Tenten Stared at the idiotic duo through the glass door. "idiots..." Tenten muttered dragging an annoyed Neji towards Gai and Lee.

At the reception desk

Deidara glanced at the group of four that were talking to the receptionist next to kid he noticed when he first walked in. "Your room number is 52, enjoy your stay!" the receptionist Deidara nodded and walked off. damn kakuzu was gunna kill him for spending this much money but he didn't care he was pissed off and tired.

As he trudged down the hallway he heard a familiar voice it was that kid and his sensei yet again.

'god are they following me or something?' Deidara thought as he turned round to look at them. For some unknown reason His heart beat sped up a bit as they turned round the corner. Lee stopped and stared at Deidara with a confused look on his face.
There gazes locked and in an instant Deidara was in his room breathing heavily 'what the hell is wrong with me?!' Deidara thought as he took off his Akatsuki cloak and lay down on the bed trying to erase that boy from his mind.

Team gai's room

Lee stared at the white textured ceiling still thinking about that oh so familiar man,'....I wonder who he is..?' He felt somebody shaking him so he sat up and looked at his sensei.

"Lee, you've been spacing out allot...are you sure you're ok?" Gai asked with a concerned look on his face.
"yes I am okay just been thinking...allot" Lee replied motioning for his Sensei to continue.

"As I was saying...Are target is an akatsuki member that focus in long range Attacks." Gai held up a scroll with a picture of Deidara in the middle. Lee's eyes widened as he looked at the picture. There was no mistaking it. It was him, the man they were after was in the room just down the hall...

Later that night
Lee watched his sleeping team mates that were in the beds next to him, Lee sighed, he was having a hard time getting to sleep because that Akatsuki member called Deidara continued to plague his mind.

Lee opened the door and began to walk down the hall, He slowly began to forget about Deidara and he began to think about the mission until his thoughts were interrupted by a man bumping into him.
"Ow..." a voice mumbled "...watch where you're going un."
