It was my first time at one of the top academies in Japan, Hopespeak Academy. "Pull yourself together Kuroko! You can do this," I took a deep breath, made my legs walk forward and went through the gates of the academy. Suddenly, I was in total darkness. Everything I saw was pitch-black. It was like I'm in a horror movie! Immediately, I heard someone calling me. "Hey! Are you okay? Wake up!" a girl with long brown hair and dark brown eyes shake me until I fell from a bench I was lying on. "Ouch…" I cried in pain but I tried to control my voice level so I wouldn't embarrass myself. "Sorry, that must have hurt! You need help there buddy?" the girl asked as she smiled cheekily. "I don't know if you did that on purpose but I will still forgive you kid," I replied as I stood up and took a good look at her. She was wearing a dress which was totally pink, from top to bottom. She looked really young.
"My name is Sally, nice to see another student," she shook my hand as she introduced herself "What happened to you before you came here?" "I don't think I actually came here because I could only remember darkness swallowing me up as I stepped foot on the school ground," I explained. "I see, it seems everybody including me had the same matter…" Sally said to herself. Wait, 'everybody'? I turned behind me and saw 13 more students. "We're not the only ones here," she said as she pulled my hand and went straight to the others. One of them with black hair dyed with pink, blue and white highlights said "It seems that we've got another one joining today, my name's Rika Mado, nice to meet ya," smiling kindly. Now that didn't seem fake! "Could you all please stop with your sickening chatter, I think the mascot character has more to blabber about," a guy said. He had blond hair and eyes which were as blue as the skies. He had fancy clothes too. Must be a rich! I spotted a nametag on his clothes and started to read "Kazuki Haruhi?" "You might want to look at the stage now than my nametag," Kazuki said.
We all looked at the stage and saw a bear coloured in both black on the other side and white on the other. "Good morning my students, I am your principle for Hopespeak Academy, Monokuma! Since I gave you time for you to get to know each other better, you should know everyone by now. If you still don't know all of them yet well let me just read their lame-ass names for you all shall we? Kazuki Haruhi, Sally Rei, Kurona Meme, Hashino Marie, Himeko Akatsuki, Alice Rain, Kuroko Aoi, Kira Kuran, Shino Yumemiya, Cynthia Raider, Kurumi Wang, Satoshi Ryu, Rika Mado, Nagito Komaeda and Ryuuji Moru. Do you know now? Good so for your first duty for the day is kill each other!" he ordered.
"I'm sorry what now?" I asked in disbelieve. "Yeah you heard me! There is only one way to graduate from this school and it is to kill everyone, easy to understand. How about we call this like a game of life," Monokuma answered. "Oh my god, why would we do that?!" Kurona screamed at Monokuma. "My suspicions are confirmed on why are we here," Kurumi said as she put her hand on her chin like a detective. "A game with the sake of our lives on the line, interesting," Kazuki said as he smiled. He is such a weirdo…. "May god bless us," Hashino blessed. "We have to kill each other? B-but wh-why?" Cynthia asked as she starts crying, hugging herself. "Didn't I tell you already!? If you're the last one standing, you will graduate," Monokuma repeated, walking forward to us. Himeko got furious and grabbed Monokuma saying "This is madness!" "Sorry sweetie but it's true," Monokuma said. We have to kill each other to graduate in this school? This is really going to be a nightmare…
