When Opposites Meet

Bloom walked through the hallways and towards her dorm. An otherwise normal day of classes as they semester came to an end. She had yet to see her friends in quite awhile, Stella probably convinced them to sleep in and go shopping instead of going to class today but Bloom had missed this probably speech since she had an early class that morning.

When she got to the door to her room though she felt something. It didn't feel quite right. The flame inside her seemed to leap a bit, like a kick of adrenalin. Ignoring it thinking that it was probably the weird looking eggs she had this morning she reached for the doorknob and walked in.

The whole Winx Club was there like she had expected but there were no shopping bags or giggling they were all surrounding a figure lying on the couch. A girl about the same age as they were, unconscious, her clothing torn and dirty. She did not look familiar in the slightest, Bloom's stomach turned. She didn't like this.

"What happened?" Bloom asked as she approached, her nausea transforming into a heavy chest making it difficult to breath. It felt like she was getting smothered. Maybe it was that enchanted virus that was going around.

"She was passed out in her Enchantix form in the forest when Flora found her." Musa answered as she studied the girl. Flora looked over to Bloom who had stumbled and tried to support herself on the furniture.

"Bloom… Is something wrong?" Flora asked, concerned.

"Yeah you wanna sit down?" Layla suggested as she started to walk towards her friend.

"I- I don't feel so well…" Bloom was barely able to finish her sentence as the room continued to spin and she fell to the floor, Layla getting there just in time to catch her.

"BLOOM!" the group cried out.

"I'll go get Ms. F." Techna said running for the door with Musa right behind her.

Stella shook Bloom, deperate as she called out to her, not knowing what to do. "Bloom! Bloom! Wake up!"

"Stella it's useless she's not gonna wake up. We can't do anything now." Layla said putting arm around Stella. "now help me get her up on the bed. All we can do now is let her rest."

Ms. Feregonda then appeared in the room with Techna and Musa.

"What happened?" Ms. F asked as she walked to Bloom's bedside, examining her for any obvious signs of trauma or curses.

"Well Bloom walked in after class as usual and she was acting a little weird." Stella said

"Yeah she was like holding on to furniture just to keep her balance." Layla said remembering. "She never gets sick though."

"Then she said she felt light headed and then fainted." Musa said

Feragonda looked at the other girl on the bed.

She had white hair with blue highlights and with fair skin. Her torn clothing consisted of black pants with a white fire emblem at the bottom and a white blouse. Her leather jacket was dirty and singed by something as well. Around her neck bore the most unusual item, however, a medallion bearing the symbol of a water star. Ms. F's eyes widened, shocked at the discovery.

"Girls we have to move these two girls away from each other right now." Feragonda said sternly

"Why what's wrong?" Stella asked

"Just put the other girl in a different room for a bit."

They carefully moved the girl into Layla's room and put her on the bed. Everyone sat in silence as Ms. F looked over the new girl. Within a few minutes the girl began to stir from her slumber and Bloom awoke in the other room, to the great relief of her friends.

"What happened?" Bloom asked a little groggy.

"Flora you appeared to fall across Princess Aqua of Nube." Ms. F began to explain as she helped the girl sit up from her bed and hand her glass of water which she quickly consumed.

"Who is she?" Bloom asked sitting up in bed

"You are the protector of the dragon fire Bloom… And I am of the water stars…" Aqua answered.

"What happened to you princess?" Flora asked

"I'm really not sure if I even want to remember…" Aqua brought her knees to her chest and embraced them, uncomfortable with her new surroundings.

"It's okay sweetie you're safe now." Flora assured her with her motherly smile. Ms. F did not seem to share the same mothering sentiment though.

"Aqua I'm sorry…" Feregonda apologized to her confused guest and casted a spell at Aqua making her faint.

"Ms. Feragonda?!"
