Disclaimer: No, just no.

I wrote this for my mom cause she loves the Tomb Raider games and she also thinks Wolverine is awesome. Soooo, yeah. Enjoy.

Battlefield

They always meet here, on this field. This same grassy field.

One always came before the other. Usually she before he. Always with a different emotion than the other.

But today was different. Today he came before she. And today they had the same emotion. Arrogance.

"Well, you're looking lovely today, Laura." He said.

"Shut it, Wolf, I don't need more chitchat." Laura Croft snapped.

"Aw, can't we ever just talk? Have some tea maybe? I know how you Brits love your tea" Wolverine said.

Laura glared at him then, but made no attempt at a comeback.

"Speechless, are we? Does my wolfish charm do this to you often?"

"No. I'm just trying to figure out how something so wolf-like, can be so stupid."

This time it was the wolf's turn to glare but make no comeback.

Laura allowed herself a satisfied smirk before quickly returning her façade back to it's usual absence of emotion look.

"Speechless, are we? Does my raider charm do this to you often?"

"No. I'm just trying to figure out how something so beautiful, can be so oblivious."

"Oblivious to what, wolf?"

The wolf blushed ever so slightly, turned around, and ran out of the field.

After he was long gone, Laura just stood there.

"I'm not oblivious…Logan."
