Tihani: Okay. this was a dream I had last night.

I know it doesn't make much sense but please tell me what you think.

Amu gave a heavy sigh as she gazed upon her balcony. It was December 1st, another wonderful day.. Ahhh... The weather was soft and cool. It also meant that the holiday's were coming soon. She leaned her elbow over her railing and rested her head upon her hand. This was nice. She sighed as the wind blew through her soft pink locks and face. She also enjoyed the view of the bright moon. Shinning upon the dark city.

"You're going to get sick if you stand outside in your pajamas." said a muffled voice.

Amu opened her eyes. She looked to her right to see Ikuto perched onto her railing. His right leg hanging over the edge and his left was brought into his chest. He wore his usual black attire with a navy blue scarf that covered his mouth slightly.

Amu blinked. "Oh.. I didn't see you there.." she said quietly. She took back her position of where she was with her eyes closed, before Ikuto came.

Ikuto began to swing his leg back and forth. "What? Aren't you going to tell me to go away?" he asked as he smirked slightly under his scarf.

Amu opened one eye to give him and annoyed look. "I'm not in the mood. I have a wonderful day today let me take in the last of it while it lasts" she sighed as she closed her eyes as a soft wind caressed her face.

Ikuto dropped his smirk. He frowned and shifted in his seat so that he was now danglin both legs off the balcony. "What's so special about today? It's just another day in life. It's no different from any other day.."

Amu opened her eyes and eyed Ikuto. "What do you mean?"

Ikuto looked towards her direction. "Nothing happends. Everyday we just live our lives and keep moving..."

"We keep moving forward.." said Amu as she stepped closer to him.

"Just because we're moving, it doesn't mean we're going anywhere.." he retrotted as his bangs whisped sideways as another soft breeze blew.

Amu looked away in defeat. He had a point

They sat in scilence for a while. Amu looked to the moon.

Ikuto sighed.

"Y'know...I think it just depends on how you look at it.." Amu said quietly.

Ikuto turned his head and looked at her. She was staring at the moon.

"Everyday is special or good about it..."

"How so?" he asked as he too gazed at the moon.

"Well, you wake up alive, for one." she laughed.

Ikuto chuckled.

"And, there's always something new waiting for you.." she continued.

"Well I guess my 'something new' wasn't patient and left.."

"Or you're just not looking hard enough."

He nodded. "True."

Amu smiled. She walked towards the part where Ikuto was sitting and leaned against the rail.

They watched the moon until the clock struck midnight.

And a new day awaited them.
