Hello everyone, GreenxLight47 here. Now you may be wondering why I decided to make another story. Simple. I hate the Annoying Dragon Chronicles.

Ugh, even typing the title makes me cringe.

There are lots of reasons why I decided to abandon that story and make this one. All you need to know is that I hate that story. It's poorly written. It makes no sense. And I hate writing it. Pretty simple reasons. Now onto the story.

But first...

Rated M for: Major Violence, Sexual Theme, Gore, Swearing, Incest, and maybe later on Lemons

Discalimer: I obviously do not own Highschool DxD or any of its characters. I only own the few OCs and the plot of this story. I do not own the cover.

"You really think they're ready for this, Haryuko-kun?" The woman asked the figure next to her.

The proclaimed Haryuko nodded at the woman's question. "Yes. They have proven themselves to be ready for our training. Besides, the earlier the better. It would keep those who wants to target them away for a long time." He replied.

Haryuko was a tall man that looked like he was in his twenties. He wore a long white coat that reached his knees and below and a white undershirt with green cargo pants. He had a short beard growing on his face that made him look younger than what he really was. His long brown hair was pulled back so that only a few strands of his bangs was covering his forehead. He looked like a model, if it weren't for his eyes that makes anyone that sees them sweat in fear. His crimson, red eyes just screamed not to mess with him.

The woman who asked him was none other than Haruko Hyoudou, Haryuko's beloved and beautiful wife. Unlike like her husband, she had light, golden hair that seemed brighter than the sun itself. Her hair reached her hips, which seemed like a bother to most women, but Haruko was different, she didn't mind her hair length, actually she kind of enjoys it.

She wore standard clothing—a red blouse that reached her hips, along with a yellow apron that reached her knees, and to top it all of she wore bright blue tight jeans that hugged her long legs. She looked like the epitome of a goddess walking on Earth.

With her buxom body figure and her large E-Cup sized breasts, she can literally make everyone die of sheer shock, by being so beautiful that everyone had to wonder if she was a goddess.

Like her husband, her eyes were more than special. Bright, yellow eyes that glowed in brightness. She was the definition of perfect.

Haruko looked at her husband with a hesitant expression on her face. "B-but what if they're not strong enough? I mean there's a high chance that they could suffer great injuries! Or even worse... death."

Haryuko could only look at his wife's hesitant face before turning away so he could look at the window to watch a little boy around the age of eight playing with another child around his age and a little girl younger than both by a few years in their backyard.

The youngest and also Haryuko's and Haruko's second child, Sana Hyoudou. She had Haruko's hair, a golden shade that already reached right where her hands would be, along with a blue butterfly ribbon placed on the side of her hair. Her eyes resembled her mother's, a glowing shade of yellow, brighter than the sun itself. Most of her features was from her beautiful mother, Haruko.

Haryuko would sometimes complain that his own daughter had none of his features. Needless to say, he would always get a glare from his wife and a hard smack on the face.

She was wearing a pink t-shirt along with a red skirt that reached her knees.

The second child wasn't their own, but their friend's. Even so Haryuko and Haruko treated her like she was apart of the family, even though they weren't related by blood anyways. This girl had chesnaught brown hair that was tied into pigtails to give her an innocent look on her body. Her skin and body shape resembled so much like Haruko's, that the two couldn't help but ask if she was their long, lost child.

She was wearing a black long-sleeved shirt along with a blue skirt that reached her mid-thighs. She was only eight years old and already she showed a promising future for her body. This was their friend's daughter, Irina Shidou.

The final boy was none other then Haryuko and Haruko's first and eldest child, Issei Hyoudou. He had light brown hair like his father and the eyes of his as well. His bangs were split in the middle showing the middle of his forehead as well as shadowing most of his eyes. His eyes were crimson just like his father. Unlike him though, Issei had a red tint over his eye circles that made him look like one of those Anime characters, Sana keeps talking about.

His skin was slightly tanned just like his father's, showing that he played outside quite alot. He was wearing a red sweater along with blue shorts.

Haryuko took his gaze from the kids and looked back at his wife. "We're one of the most wanted people, Haruko. And there's a high chance that our enemies will come after us, and so we need to train Issei and Sana so they can defend themselves when we're not there." Haryuko said with a serious expression.

Haruko sighed. "I know, but I don't want their childhood to be ruined so fast because of us. They've only made one friend and look at them having so much fun with Irina-chan. I just don't want them to be introduced to the true, cruel world so early in their lives."

Haryuko sighed, but deep down he agreed strongly with his wife's statement. They were supposed to be like normal children. Having fun at their age. They were supposed to be getting in trouble at school, making friends, playing dolls and figurines, but nope. Fate just wanted to be cruel. Now they couldn't be doing any of those things. Now they would be fighting for their lives, getting involved in wars, having life threatening injuties, and witnessing death at such a young age.

Their childhood would be ruined.

"I know that, but it's for their own good. They need to do this. They have to. It was only generosity that we didn't start their training a year ago, but now it's time to do this. They keep getting closer and closer to our house, it's only a matter of time until they eventually find us and the kids would be defenseless when we're not there." For once, Haruko didn't argue with her husband, she knew he was right, but that doesn't mean she likes it!

Haruko sighed. She looked at the window outside and saw the kids were playing tag. They were having so much fun. Their laughters and giggles. The sweat falling from their faces to indicate they were playing for quite a long time. And it was all going to be gone. Gone because of them. Haruko sometimes wondered, what if they were just gone? Would the kids be having as much fun as they were if they had different parents?

Sometimes she wished that she had the heart to just send Issei and Sana to a different household so that they don't have to deal with the crap that they were having. If she had the heart. But she didn't. She loved them too much to send them away. Call it selfishness, but Haruko didn't care. She loved her kids too much to see them go away. She loved them too much to see them from a different household's hands.

"When are we starting their training?" Haruko asked her husband.

Haryuko paused for a moment before answering, "Tomorrow. That should be enough time for them to spend their last moments with Irina-chan. Besides she's leaving isn't she? Her father called and they're moving away to Kyoto."

Haruko sighed, but nonetheless nodded. "They're going to be devestated, aren't they? Anyways, I'll call the kids. Maybe treat them for ice cream just for the fun of it." She said while walking towards the door.

Before she could open the door, Haryuko called out, "Be safe out there!" Haruko smiled and opened the door to see the kids laying in green grass, a break from all the running around.

Haruko couldn't help but be impressed. They had more stamina than most normal kids, even Irina. Though it was probably because their parents had to do with it. You know being wierd and all. Their brains, dna, blood. They were all special. Especially their eldest child, Issei. Only being the age of eight and Issei already had what it means to be special.

It wasn't like the other two weren't special, far from it. From Sana's already devoloping brain. To Irina's unnatural speed. Those two girls were far from being normal. But there was something in Issei that just screamed special. Maybe it was his unnatural strength. Or maybe it was his wierdly good reflexes. They were one of the most special traits in their first child's body.

Haruko smiled seeing the kids having so much fun. But all fun things must come to an end. She called out the kids, "Kids! Want to go get ice cream?" Instantly the trio stood up from the ground and looked at their mother/motherly figure with sparkles in their eyes.

"Absolutely!" The three called out in unision.

Haruko smiled gently at seeing the kids' hyper energy for their favourite treat. She was going to miss that quite alot.

"Well let's go get some then, shall we?" The kids nodded their heads furiously.

She smiled and began to walk to the side walk, with only Issei and Sana following. She looked back and saw Irina looking at the ground with her head down.

Confused, she asked, "Irina, dear, why aren't you following us?" Issei and Sana soon noticed Irina standing in the same spot they were currently at.

Irina looked back up, with tears in her eyes. "I-I have.. To g-go..." She struggled to hold back her tears.

Sana tilted her head. "I'm sure you still have time to go get ice cream, don't you? It's only six o' clock."

Irina shook her head. "No, I-I mean go, go. I have to leave soon. My parents are moving out."

Issei widened his eyes. "Why didn't you tell us then?" He asked Irina.

Irina looked the other way to avoid her crush's gaze. "I-I didn't want you to be sad or anything..." She said using her arm to wipe away the tears.

Issei rose an eyebrow. "Wouldn't that still have the same effect? Early or not, you would still be leaving and we would still be sad."

"I know that!" Irina stampered. "B-but I didn't want you and Sana to be sad... I wanted you and Sana to be still having fun without being sad that I'll be leaving... I didn't want you to be worried or anything! My daddy told me that if I just ignored it and not tell you a thing, that it will be less sad..." Issei acted first and hugged her. Not a second later Rei did the same thing to her side and then Haruko.

The moment lasted for what seemed like a happy eternity to Irina. The warmth her non-related family was suffocating her—in a good way. All of Irina's worries died down a little with the hug that her 'family' was giving to her. She couldn't help but ask why God gave her such a good family. Related or not, the Hyoudous were like a family she never had, and it was going to be ridiculously hard to not just forget what her father says and just stay with the Hyoudous forever.

But all good moments have an end, and Irina knew that. Without saying a thing she reluctantly pulled off from the hug.

Issei looked at his best friend with a sad expression, also trying his hardest not to shed a tear. "You're coming back aren't you, Irina?"

Irina's eyes perked up a little. "Of course I will! And once I've come back, I'll be older, I'll be more prettier, a-and... You'll be marrying me!" Her down face was turned upside down, now replaced with her usual energetic smile.

The Hyoudous looked at Irina in shock. They didn't expect Irina to publicly admit that she wants to marry the brown haired Hyoudou. Haruko looked to see her son's face becoming red, and mentally smirked. She was very protective of her children, but seeing as she really likes Irina, she let it go. Only those who she thinks is deemworthy can marry her beloved children, and Irina just so happenes to be one of them.

Sana on the other hand was a little mad at Irina for publicly stating that she wants to marry her beloved onii-chan. She calmed down seeing as her friend was about to leave.

Irina's confident face became red with embaressment. "I-I said that outloud didn't I?" Her face was still red as a tomato as she sheepishly rubbed the back of her head.

The Hyoudous nodded, making Irina blush even more. Issei shook his blushing face and looked at Irina straight in the eyes, further making Irina blush. Her not-so-sceret crush was looking at her straight in the eyes after confessing her love to him. Irina so wanted to punch her face for saying that outloud in front of her crush and his family of all people.

She felt like dying in a hole right now.

Issei looked at Irina. "Okay."

"What!?" Were the responses of Rei and Irina. Haruko meanwhile was just giggling at the scene before her.

Sana was the first to break out of her shock. "What do you mean, onii-chan!? Y-you agreed to marry her! You're too young a-and everything!" Irina's face was as red as magma.

Issei nodded with a smile. "I'm going to marry you too, Irina!"

Irina felt like passing out right now, this moment was going to be the end of her.

Haruko smiled so much that if one were to look at her, they would probably think she was crazy. "This is too good to be true! Ugh, I wish I had my camera right now. This would be perfect blackmail material once he's older!"

If one were to see Irina's face right now, they probably would've mistaken her as a red tomato or something.

The moment faded like a puff of gas once a black car appeared in the sidewalk. The window opened up a bit so they could hear a person's voice from inside the car.

The person in the car yelled out, "Irina let's go!" The window in the car rolled up back to its original state.

Irina sighed, it was time for her to go. "I'm coming!" She looked back at her non-related family. "It's time for me to go..."

The Hyoudous looked at her saddly and gave her another hug. Irina wished this moment lasted forever. So many years to build up an almost close-like family relationship was now gone, because she had to move out. Of course it wouldn't be gone, but it's going to be years until she can come back. And she won't know what's going to happen while she was gone.

Will she be forgorten? Will Issei move on and meet another girl? That thought alone almost crushed Irina's spirits.

Irina hugged Issei the longest. "Don't forget me, Ise-kun, Sana-chan, Haruko-san! Please don't forget me!" Irina yelled as she opened the door to the car.

Issei replied back, "Of course we won't! We're going to remember you until our last days!" Irina smiled, with tears in her eyes, not even bothering to wipe it all off.

The car started its engines and then drove of to the road. Irina was still waving her farewell to her pseudo family as the car kept driving.

The Hyoudous looked back until Irina and the car was no longer seen.

Haruko smiled gently. "I'm going to miss her alot. She was like a daughter I never had."

Sana nodded wiping a few shed of tears in her eyes. She looked at her brother with a couple of tears streaming down his face.

The moment lasted quite a while before Haruko asked the siblings if they still wanted ice cream. The siblings couldn't help but say yes, they were still hungry for some ice cream after the long game of tag. Even without their friend besides them.

The three walked to the nearby ice cream stand, that they always go to whenever they were hungry for some ice treats. It was a normal stand, nothing special. The treats they made was relatively normal and decent. But even so, it was the nearest ice cream stand in the neighborhood and they just went along with it.

"I want a vanilla, large, with some sprinkles on top. My son wants a dark, chocolate, large with no sprinkles. And my daughter wants a large, mint flavored with lots of sprinkles."

"Okay! That will be 200 Yen!" Haruko nodded and gave him the money. He took it and worked his way to create the treats.

Once he was finished, the Hyoudous took their ice cream and walked towards the park. They decided to make their way to the park for a short stop, since Sana wanted to ride on the swings quite enthusiasticly. So being a caring mother as she is, Haruko agreed.

"Ne, kaa-chan?"

"Yes, honey?" Haruko asked Sana.

"Are we-?" Sana couldn't finish her scentance as Haruko grabbed Sana and Issei and jumped backwards to avoid the purple energy blast that was aimed for them.

Issei and Sana widened her eyes. They had never seen a purple ball crashing towards them. That was something unnatural. They looked at their mother who was gripping their shoulders tightly. They had never seen their mother look so serious before. Yes, they saw her glaring at people, but it wasn't this serious.

Haruko glared at the hole where the purple ball blasted through. She had that menacing look on her face whenever someone harms her children in anyway. That look alone terrified the siblings. Maybe that's why they decided to follow whatever their mother says, since they didn't want to see her angry at them.

Smoke rose from the hole where the purple ball blasted through.

Haruko yelled out, "Who are you!? And why did you try to attack my children!? Answer me!" Anger rose from the usually gentle, caring Haruko.

The smoke eventually died down and there it reaveled a tall figure around his thirties. He was wearing a dark, gray cloak that reached all the way to his knees. The hood covered the man's face so they couldn't quite see what the man looked like, but they could see a long gray beard around the man's face. He was a tall, gruff man wearing a long-sleeveless black shirt. He had gray cargo pants with three belts wrapped around his waist. One red, one blue, and one yellow.

The man chuckled with his deep, rough voice that sent shivers down Issei and Sana's spine. "Didn't doubt that you would be able to dodge that, but I am suprised that you have two kids with you. Your kids? Hah! Well, this keeps getting better and better, now I have three people to kill! The more the merrier, am I right!?" He said with a grin on his face.

Haruko glared at the man before her. "Who are you? Who sent you!? Answer me!" She yelled with a deep growl in her voice.

The man's grin grew wider. "Who sent me does not matter. But I will tell you the name who will kill you, Taiyō no ōjo (Princess of the Sun). I am, Alisker the killer of light and the most feared hunter of all! That is I! Alisker!" He yelled as he raised his arms while laughling like a mad man.

Haruko gritted her teeth as she took a step back while making sure her kids were right behind her. Haruko raised her arms—that was now glowing like the sun—and pointed them towards Issei and Sana.

The glow surrounded Issei and Sana. Not a moment later a glowing, yellow sphere surrounded the siblings like a protective barrier.

Alisker growled. "A protective barrier? Huh? Grrrrrr.." He took out the sword behind his back and pointed it towards the kids. "Whatever. I'll remove it right after I finish you!" With that said he charged right after Haruko with his sword raised, hoping to kill her in one blow.

Haruko knew this would happen, and took a step back as the sword hit the ground. The ground that it hit was torn apart by the giant sword's swing as a huge crater was formed by the sudden force the sword caused. Haruko wasted no time and unleashed a torrent of golden flames that was headed towards Alisker.

The man was agile enough to dodge it, but was still hit by a couple of flames that burned his cloak instantly. Alisker widened his eyes seeing the torn part of his cloak burned.

"How the fuck!? This cloak is made of Kraken scales, how the hell did your fucking flames burn apart of my cloak!? Should have expected less from the daughter of Amaterasu!" The kids widened their eyes and looked at their mother in shock.

Their mother was the daughter of Amaterasu! The Shinto goddess of the sun!

Haruko glared at Alisker in frustration. He wasn't supposed to say that infront of her kids! She growled and formed a sphere made of her golden flames. The sphere grew and grew until it was the size of a basketball. She took a step forward and launched the flaming ball of destruction.

The sphere traveled as fast as a jet towards Alisker. His eyes widened in fear. He should have known not to underestimate the Taiyō no ōjo. She wasn't titled as the most powerful woman on Earth for no reason. He was foolish to do so and he knew that. The sphere charged towards Alisker's chest.

Blood.

Blood traveled down its way towards Alisker's former chest. A big, red hole the size of a basketball was in place of his former torso. His eyes widened. Blood sprayed across his mouth as he coughed it all up. The once clean chest was replaced with a deep hole, the size of a basketball on his chest.

Alisker dropped his sword and fell to his front indicating that he was dead. Issei and Sana looked at the dead man laying on the ground a couple of meters away from him with a giant hole on his chest. They did what most normal kids would do. They screamed.

Haruko looked at the dead man laying infront of her. You would assume she was finished, but no. Much to a bigger suprise, Haruko lit her fingers in golden flames. She raised her fingers to a hand gun motion and fired.

A bullet made of golden flames shot through Alisker's head. The hole in where the bullet ran through ignited in flames as it quickly spreaded across the dead man's body. The sight of seeing a burning man traumautized the young children.

Not five seconds later the flames died down reaveling absolutely nothing. No bones. No smoke. No ashes. Nothing. Not a single trace left that indicated a man was burnt to death. Not even that cloak he think so highly of. Or that sword he was carrying. Nothing.

Issei and Sana almost puked. It was bad enough to see a person get brutally killed. But a person getting killed by their own mother! It was a nightmare coming true.

The golden sphere that protected Issei and Sana dropped. They fell to their knees and looked at their mother. Their mother. The same person who killed someone in front of them. Enemy or not, it was still murder. Haruko removed his gaze from where Alisker was and looked back at her kids.

She saw the frightened expression on their faces. Her heart shattered like a million pieces from seeing the scared look on their faces directed at her. She almost wished she could just burn herself right there than see those scared looks on their faces.

Haruko traumautized them.

She took a step forward, but the two held strong and stayed right where they were. Then she took another and another and another. Until she was standing a couple of feet away from the two. She couldn't help but feel grateful with her children's bravery and loyalty.

Haruko looked at them with disappointment in her face. Not at the two. But to herself. She killed a person right infront of her children and it was a gruesome death. Obviously she did it for their safety, but still, it didn't make it any less better.

"I'm sorry that you had to see that, Issei, Sana... You shouldn't have seen such a gruesome death at your age. I'm sorry. I wish you could forgive me..." She looked down in shame.

Sana stampered with her voice. "W-what was that, kaa-chan?" She asked with fear still in her voice.

Haruko sighed. "That we will discuss with your father after we return home. Let's go before more appear." She walked towards their way home with Issei and Sana slowly following her.

Line Break

Issei and Sana sat at the opposite end of the couch. Right infront of them was Haryuko and Haruko with a serious expression on their faces. One they don't see as much except when they get hurt or someone hurts them.

The silence and suspension was killing Issei and Sana. It took quite alot of strain to not just jump at their parents and ask them what the hell was that.

Sana broke the tension. "W-what was that, kaa-chan?" She asked, while stuttering.

Haruko sighed. "You're eventually going to find out, so I might as well tell you now. Me and your husband aren't exactly humans."

Issei looked at them with widened eyes. "If you're not human, then what are you?"

Haryuko decided to be the one who answered his question. "I'm a dragon and your mother is a demigod. The daughter of Amaterasu, the Shinto goddes of the sun."

Their mouth gaped at the straight, blunt answer that their dad told them. Demigods. Dragons! It was like something you would get from a fairy tale or Anime! This was too much for their small bodies.

"Dragons and gods, exists!?" Issei and Sana yelled out in unision.

The two nodded their head. "Yes, they do. And also devils, angels, and other supernatural stuff." Haruko said, with a casual voice.

Issei spoke first. "But how?"

Haryuko sat down on the couch to make himself comfortable. "It's a long story so prepare yourselves." Issei and Sana nodded. "It all started with a being named God. God was the creator of the Earth and also Heaven and the angels. For a long time there were only a small amount of powerful races. Gods, Angels, Dragons, and demons, only those four. When God created humans, he also created the Angels and their home territory, Heaven. Angels were created so that they could watch over the humans. And they did just that. When God died-"

"God died!?" Issei and Sana yelled out.

Haryuko sighed. "Yes, God died. But we'll get to that later on. Now where were we? Ah, Angels! For a long time Angels were the most popular faction in the entire world. But soon everything started to crumble when the Angels above couldn't handle the strict rules anymore. You see God wanted peace and only peace, so he made rules that almost destroyed his entire faction. The first and most important rule was to not ever allow temptation in their lives. To not allow evil within their minds. But lots of Angels lost it and disobeyed the law."

"The first one to technically fall from grace, was Baliel. He grew into temptation and manipulated his friend, Lucifer, to disobey the law and cause havoc. The plan went successful and the both of them became the first Devils to walk the Earth. From there on more people joined them and the Devil faction grew and grew until they were on spar with the Angels in terms of population and strength. Very soon otherwise more and more Angels was fed up with their leader's laws and disobeyed them."

Haryuko continued. "They didn't become apart of the Devil faction, instead one of the fallen created their own faction called the Grigori. They didn't have as much man power as the Devils and the Angels, nor did they have the never ending population, but they make it up for it with their powerful magic-"

"Magic exists!?"

Haryuko nodded calmly. "They exist too. The Grigori had very good magic power on their hands. Now while they weren't as powerful as the other two, they still participated in the Great War and did quite alot of damage on the two factions as they had a few Dragons on their side. The war lasted for a long time and it was also where God died on the hands of Trihexa, a powerful entity that rivaled that of God's."

"Now the Devils, Grigori, and the Angels happens to be the most popular and stronger factions among the world. But there are quite a few factions that could rival their strength and make it look easy. One of these factions was my faction, the Dragon faction. The Dragons were one of the strongest and most oldest factions to ever exist. They existed before God created the Earth. Their strength alone could shame gods. And their knowledge about the world, and even the universe can stir up a world war. That is why my faction happens to be the most feared one because of our power and natural knowledge."

"After the Great War, the Dragons' population was cut down until there were barely any left at all." Haryuko gritted his teeth and clenched his fists. "A dragon so powerful was able to take all of us down in a matter of seconds. That dragon... No, a monster was the Dragon King of Chaos and also the kinslayer, Chroma. He was powerful, above all of us, and yet he wasted it by killing his own people. His own people because of reasons unknown. Some says he was possessed. While others say he did it for the fun alone. But the mystery is still unsolved. And that's where my father came into play."

"My father was outraged at seeing his own brothers and sisters killed by that damn monster. So he went on a mission. A foolish, but brave mission to hunt down the Dragon of Chaos and make him pay for the sins he caused to our race. I never saw him since then. I thought he died, but I never saw a body. I even went on a century long hunt to find my father, but he was just gone. Nothing. Not a single trace. Not a single clue. Just nothing."

Haruko put a hand on her husband's shoulders. The moment lasted for a few moments as she reluctantly let go of her husband's shoulders.

"So I trained. I trained hard so I could face against Chroma and end his destruction. That's also where I got my moniker Ryūsei no Doragon (Dragon of the Meteors), from having the power of the meteors. But even with all that training and hard work, I never even found Chroma or my father. So all that hard training was just a huge waste of my time." He clenched his fists in anger.

Haruko sighed and put a hand on his shoulders again to keep her husband calm and not go all deatructive mode once again.

"Guess I should start, huh? My mother was Amaterasu, the Shinto goddess of the sun, and my father was Tsukuyomi, the Shinto god of the moon. I was born in her shrine and spent most of my childhood there before leaving once I've grown older. I trained with my mother, Amaterasu for quite a long time until I traveled across Japan and met your father here. Then after that we settled in Kuoh here so we can avoid the fighting that was going on in Kyoto."

Issei and Sana knew that there was more to their mother's story, but they didn't want to bug so they didn't ask.

Haryuko finally calmed down and sat back on the couch. "Now, you two. We've decided for a long time and I think you're finally ready for what's going to happen."

Sana tilted her head in confusion. "What's going to happen?"

"Training. It's too dangerous for you two to be defenseless with a huge target on your back. There will be lots of assassination attempts and we can't leave you two to be defenseless. The Shinto faction are too busy and we're going to leave soon-"

"What!?" They asked in unision. "What do you mean you're leaving!? And why!? "

Haruko hugged her children. "We have to. It's for your own good. The Shinto faction is busy dealing with some secret mission and we have to be there to help. And your father needs to aid his faction, there are rumors that Chroma is rising again. I can't trust anyone else to take care of you two, that's why we're taking you two to training. Once this is all over, we're going to reunite together and we'll live a happy life again, okay?"

The two nodded with a few tears in their eyes. "When are we going?" Issei asked.

Haryuko walked towards him and ruffled his hair, much to Issei's displeasure. "Tomorrow, we're going. We're going to one of our favourite training spots and staying there for a few months before paying a visit to your relatives."

Sana looked a shocked. "We're going to see our relatives!?"

Haruko nodded. "Yup. Now go to sleep, it's been a busy day today and will be busier tomorrow."

The two nodded and walked upstairs towards their seperate room, before closing the door shut and preparing their way for tomorrow.

Haruko looked at her husband. "You still think it's a good idea?" She asked with the displeasure of training them so harshly at such a young age.

Haryuko paused for a moment. "It's for the best of them. Now why don't we go to sleep also? It's going to be a busy day tomorrow." Haruko nodded and quickly followed her husband's side.

Line Break—Next Day—

Waking up so early in the morning wasn't very easy for Issei and Sana. Their parents pretty much yelled at their faces to wake up and get dressed as they were ready to leave soon. So, needless to say, they weren't pretty excited for this upcoming trip.

Issei and Sana did their morning stuff. Eating breakfast, showering, brushing their teeth, all that normal stuff. Once they've finished their normal routine, they made their way to Haryuko's car and quickly got in.

They drove outside of Kuoh and the outskirts, and made their way to the country side. The mountains suprised Issei and Sana alot, as they had never seen such tall structures. They've seen buildings and skyscrapers, but the mountains around them made them look like pieces of lego.

"Ne, why are we here, kaa-chan?" Sana asked, closing the car door behind her.

Haruko looked at Sana's direction and replied, "This is where you'll be training." She replied, with her gentle voice.

Sana looked hesitant. "Yeah, but I thought we were training somewhere inside, not in a huge mountain!" Her voice echoed through the mountain.

Currently, the Hyoudous were standing on top of a mountain that looked way bigger than the skyscrapers they've seen in other cities. Its size was bigger than most of the other mountains around them. Its width looked like it could fit Kuoh and Tokyo combined. They wondered why this wasn't as talked about than other mountains like Mt. Everest or Mt. Fuji.

Haruko smiled at her daughter's expression. "Because this mountain is a sacred place for training, it's also where I trained for a long time. There's a huge barrier that protects this mountain from being seen, that is why normal mortals can't see this mountain, as their eyes can't process the terrain that they are seeing. The barrier around this mountain also gives it a huge healing factor which means any beings that dares to damage this place, always fails, as the barrier around it is healing the damaged spot."

Issei and Sana had wide eyes from hearing their mother's explanation. A mountain that can't be damaged!? It was like something out of a fairy tale or an Anime!

Issei looked at his surroundings, no damage, not even a single hole or something that indicates someone was there! "Who created this mountain?" He asked with curiosity.

Haruko answered back, "It was my very own mother, Amaterasu. Though she didn't create this mountain physically, she did put the barrier around it." Issei and Sana's mouths gaped. "Now, for some training. But first, follow your father and put away your stuff."

They nodded and hurried their way to their father's side. They walked around the mountains sides easily with the stairs that was seemingly placed there by someone. They eventually found a big red shrine built in the sides with their bags and luggage already placed there.

The Japanese styled red shrine was larger than their house by alot of meters. Like around twenty meters taller. It was wider than a normal mansion. And the door looked like it could fit elephants.

Haryuko put his hands on his hips and looked at the shrine with pride. "This is where we're staying." He said proudly.

They both gasped. "Here!?" They yelled in unision.

Haryuko smirked. "Yup. This is where we're staying. Your mother's mother built this for her when she was training here for a year. It's also our temporary home until our training is done. I'll unpack the stuff, you go back to your mother and train with her for a while. Alright?" He ruffled Issei and Sana's hair and walked to the shrine with their bags in his hands.

Issei and Sana nodded and made their way back to Haruko's place. The gap from their house and the spot where their mother was at, was quite large so after they finally made it back to her spot, they were already panting for air.

Haruko rose an eyebrow. "Exhausted already? Your stamina may be larger than normal kids, but in the supernatural world? It wouldn't be as special there. So, we need to work on those muscles before we get to the real training." Issei and Sana groaned. "Now, you see that tree over there?" She points to the healthy, big tree a couple of layed down skyscrapers away.

They both nodded. "Now, you'll be running all the way to that tree and coming back all the way there..." She points to the other tree a couple thousand meters away. "So, in a nutshell you'll be running to the tree over there and coming back to that other three over there, for around ten times."

Issei and Sana looked at their mother with dull eyes, trying to find any signs of her joking in her eyes. She was dead serious. Their mother was pretty much trying to exhaust her eight-year old and six-year old kids by making them run a marathon ten times.

Haruko rose an eyebrow at the fozen Issei and Sana. "Well? Are you going? Go! We don't have all day you know! This is your training trip, we can't afford you two to be living like Kings, even if you are our kids!" Issei and Sana groaned, but nonenthless agreed as they started to run to the tree a couple of kilometers away from them.

Line Break

Panting for more air, Issei and Sana was laying in the ground after that brutal warm up. Oddly enough, they weren't as tired as they thought they would be. Yes, they were panting. But, they were panting like they finished playing a game of tag, not a marathon.

They were confused by this, but then they remembered who their parents were and they decided not to bother with it. After a few minutes of rest they stood up and walked to where their mother was, who was currently reading a book from who knows where she got it from.

Haruko soon noticed Issei and Sana were finally finished and put away her book. "Ah! Finally finished? Okay, now we can get started with training your arm strength. Now I want you to do 500 pushups after that 500 situps! I'm sure you know how to do a pushup and situp, so I'll just leave you be." She noticed Issei and Sana's looks and tilted her head. "What's wrong?"

Sana's mouth was still panting. "What's wrong? You want us to do those crazy excersises!? We're just kids! Really young kids. "

"Okay, fine—"

"Thank you."

"700 pushups and 700 situps for complaining!" Haruko said, with a slight smirk on her face.

Issei and Sana widened their eyes. "What!? That's 200 more!"

Haruko sighed, she knew this was going to happen eventually. "Don't you realize who your parents are? I'm the daughter of Amaterasu. My body is a hundred times more stronger than a strong, pure-blooded devil. And I was only three! And your father is a full dragon! One of the most strongest creatures on Earth! Combine that, and the children will be full on powerhouses! So don't worry if you're going to die or something! Your body is full of stamina and your healing factor is hundred times stronger than pure-blooded Devils! Now get to it!" She yelled, while pointing the spot where she wants the kids to do the warm up at.

The Hyoudou siblings sighed, but agreed to do it anyways. They didn't want their mom to be yelling at them for an hour after they've seen what she could really do. The thought of seeing their mother with glowing red eyes and her usual happy face replaced with a glare, terrified the young Hyoudous.

They finally made their way to the spot where their mother was pointing at, and soon noticed that their panting breathes and their sour legs was gone! They could breathe at a normal rate again. And their legs were stronger than before! It was like they could run a marathon and not even sweat in the slightest!

The new found energy gave confidence to the Hyoudou siblings, as they were more determined to finish this excersise!

Line Break— Two Weeks Later—

Time flies pretty fast if you don't focus, don't they? But for the Hyoudou siblings? It felt like an eternity! Every day they would wake up at the shrine, eat breakfast, and train for hours until they were finished at night time.

That's how long they trained for.

Since their bodies kept getting stronger, everyday their warm up excersises would change. Haruko and Haryuko found a way to make their kids more and more exhuasted with each excersise. Everyday, Haryuko would add another ten laps for when they train their speed and another hundred for when they do physical excersises, like punches and kicks, and all of that other stuff.

Needless to say, Issei and Sana were really hating their parent's cruel warm ups.

"1,998... 1,999... 2,000! Gah!" Issei counted, as he finally finished his last pushup. He sat on the ground for a quick rest, and stood up once again to meet his parents. Right after he did that, Sana finished her last one and joined with her brother.

Haryuko had his arms crossed as he looked at his kids before him. "Now, in a matter of short weeks, your physical strength and stamina improved quite drasticly. Now, it is time for the real training. Your powers. I'm sure you already know what your mother's power is and if you somehow forgot, she will show you again." He took a step back.

Haruko looked at her kids with a serious, but still gentle expression. "Amaterasu is the Shinto goddess of the sun and also the strongest. Her power allows her to control flames to any amount that she desires. Not only are her flames absurdly strong, but it also can't be put away unless she decides to. Watch." The kids took a step back so they don't get burned by their mother's powerful flames.

Haruko held her arm up in the air. Instantly it was set to blaze with her beautiful golden flames. She lowered her arm up until it was aiming for the mountain nearby. Issei widened his eyes and grabbed Sana's shoulders, so she wasn't near the destruction that their mother was going to cause.

Haruko took a step forward, sooner or later she pushed her right arm so it looked like she was swinging her arm forward. Her blazing arm edged towards her hand as Haruko gathered the flames to one spot.

The golden flames that seemed brighter than the sun, was released from their wielder's arms. A huge torrent of golden flames, larger than an airplane, came crashing to the mountain that Haruko was aiming at. A big hole was left in the mountain's body, with embers sparkling of the hole.

The young Hyoudous widened their eyes. Holy crap! They knew that their mother was godly strong—that fight with that Alisker guy proved it—but they didn't realized she was that strong!

Haruko looked at the hole in the mountain. "The flames of Amaterasu is extremely powerful and can kill a person if you're reckless with it." The siblings nodded their heads.

Haryuko looked at the hole and sighed. "You really had to do that?"

"It was only an example."

Haryuko chuckled. "Well, I guess it's time for me to explain my power." He took a step forward. "I'm known as the Ryūsei no Doragon (Dragon of the Metors) for a reason. That's because I have the ability to channel the strength of a thousand metors inside my body. Watch." He pulled up his sleeve so his bare left arm was showing. "Haruko-chan."

Haruko nodded and created a barrier around Issei and Sana. Haryuko seeing as the kids were safe from the barrier, jumped up in the air until he reached the clouds, much to the young Hyoudous dismay. His left arm started channeling energy, as red marks appeared in his dominant arm.

Energy after energy, power after power, his left arm had all of those. Finally, he swung his left arm and the abyss that he created was more than what their mother had shown. The wind roared against the sky. The ground below them cracked. And the destruction that their own father had caused to the mountain that they were standing on was simply too much for the young Hyoudous to handle.

A huge gust of wind blinded the young Hyoudous, even with the barrier around them.

The wind cleared and the Hyoudous could finally see what destruction their father had shown in his little demonstration.

Their eyes dropped.

Everything around them was completely destroyed. The crater that their father had caused, trippled the one their mother had shown. Its size was bigger than Kuoh itself. It reached deep in the ground like it was some fucking mole.

Issei snapped out of the daze and looked at where his mother was at. She was completely fine. No injuries. Not even a scartch on her fine clothes. Nothing. Her gaze looked completely natural, like she had seen better things in her life. Not even a sign of interest. Just dullness.

Slowly the crater that their father had caused, began to work its way in repairing itself again. Crumbles of rock fragments began to move its way back to where they were at previously.

A couple of minutes later, the land was back to its original state. Not a single trace was left behind to indicate that someone blew a fucking crater on the ground with a swing in his arm. Nothing at all.

Haryuko landed on the ground with a giant THUD! He wiped the dust on his coat. He didn't look fazed at all with the giant crater that he formed with a swing on his left hand.

The barrier around the young Hyoudous disapeared in a puff of smoke. "And that's our demonstration. Like it? Well, anyways, we're training you our powers so that hopefully you'll be able to use it fleuntly. But with a power like those, you'll be giving all of your blood, sweat, and tears to master it. You think you're up for it?" Issei and Sana looked at each other and then back to their parents. They nodded.

Haryuko grinned. "That's my kids. Now we're splitting you up so that one of you will be spending two months with one of us. Then after two months, we're rotating and the other will be with the other. Sana, you're with me first. Ise, you're with your mother first. Any of you got questions?" They shook their heads. "Good. Sana follow me." Sana nodded and followed her dad's way.

Haruko looked at Issei. "Ise-chan, let's go!" He nodded his head and followed his mother's path.

They found a perfect spot next to a giant boulder with trees covering it. Haruko faced her son. "Now, the flames of Amaterasu is hard to master. Really hard. It took me a month to fully master the basic flames and a year to completely master the entire thing. There are different types of flames that Flames of Amaterasu uses. The first and basic one is the orange flames. They hurt ten times more powerful than normal fire, but they can still be exstinguished by either water or wind." She held out her hand to show a handful of orange fire.

Issei looked at the flames with amazement. "The second one is the type of flames that I usually use, the golden flames. They hurt ten times more than the basic orange flames, and can't be exstinguished unless the user says so." She did the same thing with her orange flames.

"This one I use for more powerful opponets, mainly gods, it is called the Azura flames." Her hand was ignited with powerful blue flames that sent shivers down Issei's spine. "These flames are godly powerful, it can kill Titans and gods with ease, but they can be exstinguished quite easily if you lose your focus. I don't use it as much since my head would hurt if I use it for too long."

She turned off the Azura flames. "The next one is called the Ghostly fire." Gray-ish white flames sparked from her hand. "These flames are powerful. It can burn through anything like it's paper, even the dead. It burns through any beings with a soul and instantly kills them. They can't be put down at any costs, not even the user can too. That is why I usually never use these flames. They are way too powerful. And they also have one negative side effect."

"What is it?" Issei asked.

Haruko looked at him seriously. "Every person that you use it on, will be sent to the Underworld, where they will be tormented and tortured until the end of the universe, so forever. Do not use these flames ever in your life, Issei. Do you understand?"

Issei nodded fearfully. "I'm sorry I scared you, but I have to warn you not to make the same mistakes that I did, okay?" She took a deep breath. "The next one is the most powerful type of flames, the Black Flames of Amaterasu." She showed the deathly, hollow flames on her right hand. The fire alone sent shivers down Issei's spine.

"These flames cannot be exstinguished. Once they've left their user's hands, they're never going away. These flames doesn't burn you instantly. Actually they continue to burn that person's body until infinity dies, which is never. These flames burn you until only your bones remain. Then the black flames revives you until you're back to your original state, and they do it all over again." Haruko spoke seriously.

Issei looked dumb founded at his mother's explanation. How can flames these strong exist? And he's going to be using them in a matter of time!

Haruko put a hand on her son's shoulder. "We're going to start slow, okay? Now I want you to sit on that spot over there, in a meditation pose." She points to the spot where she asks him to sit at.

Issei sat down with his legs crossed. "What next?" He asked.

Haruko replied, "I'm going to tell you how to ignite fire. But first, I need to tell you about the Hearth of Fire."

"Hearth of Fire?" He tilted his head on confusion wondering what the hell is a Hearth of Fire.

Haruko nodded. "The Hearth of Fire can only be obtained by someone who is related to Amaterasu or if she is Amaterasu. The Hearth of Fire allows the ability to control Amaterasu's Flames. Only those who share blood with Amaterasu can obtain it."

Issei looked in awe. "How can I obtain it?" He asked.

Haruko replied her son's question. "You need to prove yourself worthy to your own heart. It may seem wierd, but bare with me. Think of your wishes, your desires, your dreams. Concentrate in that desire and keep it close to your heart. If your heart accepts that desire, it will open the gate that keeps you away from the Hearth of Fire. Be careful though, your heart won't accept so easily, so you need to find a way to make it accept your desire."

Issei nodded and folded his hands together. He closed his eyes and began to focus. His first thought was power. He only wanted this Hearth of Fire was so he can use the flames of Amaterasu and make himself strong so he can protect himself.

The desire was stuck within his mind. The power to protect himself and make his own family proud. Sana, his father, his mother, Irina, all of them. He wants the power to make everyone leave him and his family alone. No one to bother him. No one to make his life miserable.

Thu- his heart's beating stopped, but Issei was still breathing. His own heart finally made its choice, so quickly too. And then... Wooooosh! Issei was blown back by some unexpected force. His back hit a tree behind him.

Issei groaned. "How the heck?" He asked as he rubbed his head to calm the nerve that was inside him.

Haruko kneeled besides Issei and placed a hand on his chest, right where his heart would be. "Your heart didn't accept. It thought your desire wasn't worthy."

Issei rose an eyebrow. "My heart has a brain now? Ughhh, this world is so wierd!"

Haruko chuckled. "It is isn't it? Now why don't you try again and if you think your desire isn't good or worthy, then change it. But you have to take your time and concentrate." Issei nodded and sat back down with his legs crossed.

This time Issei thought of his family. His family was his everything. They gave him his life. They gave him a will. To protect those he cares about. He thought of Sana, her scared expression when they encountered that Alisker guy. The thought alone angered his mind, seeing his little sister getting hurt by those scum that dared try to kill them.

He wants the power to drive his future enemies away. He wants the power to protect those he cares about. And he's going to get it.

Thu- his heart already decided. Issei remained his focus on his desire. He wasn't going to let go... Wooooooooshhhh!!! Like last time Issei went crashing on the tree behind him by some unexpected force.

Issei groaned loudly, his back hurt. "Ughh... A-again? Seriously! Ughhh..." He rubbed his back to lessen the pain, which didn't.

Haruko frowned. "Your heart's a stubborn one, isn't it? Well, maybe it's because your heart doesn't like your wish or... It's... How much does your heart thump before it stops?"

Issei looked confused. "Huh? Well, only once and after that, it stops beating."

Haruko sighed. "I see...Your heart isn't listening to you. Make it listen. Force it to listen. If it's not, then go chase after it and force your desire down its throat." Issei sweatdropped hearing his mother's answer, but he nodded anyways.

'Does a heart even have a throat?' Issei shrugged at his own question.

He got back to the spot that he sat on and crossed his legs. He closed his eyes and began to focus. He thought of his family and his friends. He thought of power and the means to protect those he cares deerly. His father, his mother, Sana, Irina. He thought of them and began to focus.

He listened closely to his heart. It wasn't beating. It wasn't deciding. It was like it wasn't listening to Issei. It seemed wierd to him—his own heart wasn't thumping nor was it listening to its own body like it has a mind on its own. Issei decided to forget about it for now and continued focusing on how to open this Hearth of Fire.

"Make your heart listen." The advice that Haruko gave to him echoed through his childish mind.

'I want power to protect my family. I want power to protect my family. I want power to protect my family. I want power to protect my family.' His mind was racing with the same thought over and over again—the power to protect his family. Slowly he could hear his heart beating. It was quiet, but it was a good enough progress for Issei.

The beating grew louder. Thump, thump, thump. His heart was deciding, slowly. It was picking between the two options. Relief started to wash over Issei's body, but he didn't let it stop there. He continued bombarding his heart with the same thoughts over and over again.

'I want power to protect my family. I want power to protect my family. I want power-' His heart's beating was so loud that Issei could barely hear his own thoughts. 'I want power to protect my family. I want power to protect my family. I want power-' A burning sensation washed over his body, completely breaking his thoughts.

Issei's body was burning. It felt like his mother was attacking him with those godly flames. The burning sensation was torture to Issei, it was a million times worse than that moment when he stepped over a nail. It felt like someone was washing his body with lave, but ten times worse!

Issei gritted his teeth. He thought it was going to be painful, but he didn't expect it to be this much! Even so, he pushed himself to stay strong and not run away. He pushed his lips in to avoid letting out a girly scream.

The moment lasted for a minute, but to Issei, it felt like an eternity. Literally! It felt like someone threw his body out on the infinite void of the universe and covered him with gasoline and a lighter to light it up. This was a whole other level of pain that Issei had witnessed in his body. Those headaches, and stepping on legos, and crashing your knee onto the cement felt like a small pinch compared to this one!

Finally, Issei couldn't hold it anymore. He let out a painful scream that roared through the mountain. His throat felt like it had not been fed with water for a year. His eyes felt so dry, like he had just stared at the sun for an hour long without blinking. His already growing muscles felt like they were collapsing. And his body was burning with hot fire that was now spreading all around his body.

"GAAAHHHHH!!!" His yell was heard all around the giant mountain.

The pain lessned after a couple of minutes. His body was still hurting, but the degree died down for a couple of while. Slowly, the sensation that tortured Issei eventually died down until he could breathe normally again. His eyes, his muscles, and the rest of his body was still hurting, but lessened by a hundred.

He panted for air for a couple of minutes. "W-what... was... t-t-that?" Issei asked, even though his throat was killing him.

Haruko hugged her son, trying to calm his body. "I'm sorry, my son. But I couldn't tell you how painful the process would be, as you would probably hesitate by even the slightest." She hugged Issei, and all the pain that washed into Issei's body was gone.

Issei widened his eyes. "How did...?" His shock evedint his voice.

Haruko smiled softly. "I just spreaded my healing aura onto your body." She said in her usual gentle voice.

"Healing... What?"

Haruko kissed his forehead. "My healing aura. Your grand mother gave me this little ability that heals pain for whenever I hug someone with it, but I didn't really have to do it seeing as the sun is up." She pointed to the sky where the sun was at.

Issei grew confused. "What do you mean?"

Haruko ruffled his hair, much to his displeasure. He really hated it whenever someone does that. "Since your grand mother is Amaterasu, it means your body would be much stronger when the sun is up. Think of it like a plant. The more sun it gets, the faster the growth. And it's like that to you too, my litle Ise-chan. Your strength, speed, healing, stamina, abilities, everything is twice as powerful and effective when the sun is up. Haven't you noticed why you're less happy and more tired when it's dark time?"

Issei nodded his head cutely, which almost caused Haruko to squeal with how cute her little sun was.

Haruko smiled. "It's because the sun isn't there and your body will be less powerful and effective as when the sun was there. Now anyways, the Hearth of Fire."

"Was it painful to you too, kaa-san?" Issei asked.

Haruko nodded her head. "It was painful, but rewarding at the end. You see, the Hearth of Fire gives you the ability to control the Flames of Amaterasu. You won't be able to fleuntly control it at first, but once you've gotten the basics down, you're on your way to master the Flames. Now, I want you to hold out your right hand."

Issei nodded and pulled out his right hand. "Next, I want you to focus on your right hand. Think of that feeling when your body was burning." Issei looked hesitant, but Haruko put a hand on his shoulder. "Don't worry about being hurt. The Hearth of Fire does not allow its own people to harm you, instead it strengthens you. In other terms, fire can't harm you, instead, it gives you more power. So, do not worry about being hurt, Ise-chan." Haruko said in a comforting voice.

Issei nodded and focused on his right hand. He thought of that burning sensation that lit his entire body on fire. He took his mother's advice to the heart and focused on that burning feeling. Oddly enough, the same feeling came and traveled across his body all the way to his right hand. It didn't hurt. Wierdly enought it gave him warmth. Like the same warmth he gets when his mother would read a bedtime story to him when he was younger.

That exact same warmth.

The energy fueled his body and all the way to the destined locatation. He felt like his body was on fire, like every muscle, skin, bones were lit up by a match. But it didn't hurt. Not even a slight burn.

His body accepted the energy as it finally reached its destination, his right hand. Issei opened his eyes and looked at his hand. It was on fire! He yelped and landed on his butt with the fire still in his hands. He looked at the orange flames more closely. It was beautiful.

He couldn't help but stare at it for a while—the flame's beauty was burning hot! His mother smiled and sat down with him. She touched the burning energy on his hand. It was so warm. So peaceful. Yet, so dangerous.

Haruko smiled. "Beautiful flames you got there, Ise-chan. They're almost as beautiful as your grand mother's. That energy you're feeling on your hands, what is it?"

Issei looked at his mother with a questionable gaze. "What?"

Haruko rephrased her statement. "What do you feel when you're holding those flames? Is it power? Evil? Warmth? Which one of those, Ise-chan?" She asked, still touching the flames on his right hand.

Issei looked back at the flames on his hand. "I feel all of those. I feel warmth like when you read me a bedtime story. But, I also feel powerful when these flames are on my hands. And... Oddly enough, I feel evil coming out of my hands. Like when you showed those Ghost flames and the Black Flames of Amaterasu. That sort of thing." Issei said in a quiet, almost a whisper, voice.

Haruko nodded, taking her hand out of the burning element. "I see... We should get started on your training now, shouldn't we? Stand up, Ise-chan, and we will do some excersises to help control the Flames of Amaterasu." Issei nodded and stood up to meet his mother.

He was on his way to control his mother's and grand mother's power. He felt nervous, yet excited.

He was going to control the Flames of Amaterasu.

Line Break—With Sana

Sana quickly followed her father, as they finally found a perfect training spot. It was near the outer edges of the mountain, with a couple of trees and boulders surrounding it.

She looked at the clearing. It was beautiful. She could see so many mountains along with the one that her mother put a hole through.

The golden-haired Hyoudou snapped out of her daze and looked back at her father. "Ne, tou-san, why did you pick me first and not onii-chan. Isn't he more capable for this sort of thing?" Sana couldn't help but ask why her tou-san decided to pick the younger one first and not the older one. Her onii-chan was much more better at punching stuff than her, so why did her tou-san pick her instead of him?

Haryuko chuckled. "It's because me and your mother wanted to strengthen your weaknesses first. Sana, your physical strength is much better than kids of your age, but against your older brother, he takes the cake on that since he's older. That's why I decided to pick you first and not your brother. It's because I wanted to improve and train your physical strength more and also your speed and defense."

He continued. "You're the youngest one, kiddo, and that means you're the lowest rank in physical strength, in terms of our family. I wanted to improve all of your physical attributes, because my power allows the user to strengthen their power, speed, defense, and all of that other stuff. Do you understand, kiddo?"

Sana slowly nodded. She was starting to get why her tou-san picked her instead of her onii-chan.

"Oh, okay. But, what does your power do? I saw what it looked like and its main ability, but what else can it do?" Sana asked, with her head tilted sideways.

Haryuko replied, "It's more of a fighting style than just a pure ability. You see I gather all of the Aura within my body-"

Sana cutted her father off. "Aura?"

Haryuko nodded his head. "Yes, Aura. The embodiment of energy that exists within all living being's bodies. It is energy that can usually be manipulated by Dragons or anyone with Dragon. Sometimes other beings who had their Aura awakened. That is why our race was feared by so many people because we were able to control Aura. We can control Aura to a maximum amount so that our bodies can release the energy and manipulate it as freely as we can. Everything is possible with Aura. You can shoot fireballs, make ice structures, summon lightning, and all of that crazy stuff."

Sana was awestruck. "That is why I gained the title of Ryūsei no Doragon, because I gathered all of that Aura stored within my container and release that energy all around my body so that I can do all of those crazy things that I showed you." Sana widened her eyes by the explanation her tou-san gave to her.

It was like magic! Something out of an Anime. Was that how her mother was able to control fire? Or how that Alisker guy managed to fire off an energy blast? The ideas that she can do with this Aura thing was making her more and more excited! She could be like those Sailor Moon characters or anyone from the Dragon Ball series.

Haryuko chuckled seeing his daughter's sparkling eyes. "Now don't get too excited, kiddo. It's going to take lots of time and patience to even control it by a slightest. But seeing as how you're half-dragon and half-god, it should be twice as easier for normal standards. And once you've gotten the basics of controling your Aura, we can work on the introduction of the Meteor style." He ruffled Sana's hair.

Sana pouted a little, she wasn't a child anymore! She's six years old now! Sighing, she ignored the ruffling and fixed her hair and ribbon back to their original place. It was becoming a habbit recently with her fixing her hair about every ten seconds. She saw her kaa-chan doing it— and not trying to be left out—she decided to do it as well. After the first couple of times, her habbit of fixing her hair became an automatic muscle memory.

Sana placed her butterfly ribbon in place. "So, how do I control my Aura?" She asked, while fiddling with her hair.

Haryuko replied, "Your Aura hasn't been awakened yet. I need to do a chant so your Aura can be accesed." Sana nodded slowly.

"Alright then, are we going to do this chanting thing?" She asked.

Haryuko replied with a serious look on his face. "I have to warn you, the ritual will be the most painful thing you will ever witness at your age. Are you up for the task?"

Fear started washing over her face. "W-what w-w-ill i-it feel like?" She asked, almost regretting that she even asked that in the first place.

"You sure you wanna' know? There's no backing down after you hear this." Sana slowly nodded her head.

Haryuko paused for a minute. Finally, he answered, "It feels like you're weighed down by some wierd force. Like you're being crushed by a car ten times taller than you. Your body will start to re-create. All of your limbs, your bones, your heart, everything will start to explode like ballons. Then after you've endured that, all of your insides will start to grow once more. That's what it feels like. You sure you're up for the task?"

Sana's face dropped. She thought that this ritual thing was going to follow the rules that she thought it was going to be. Say a couple of lines, then Boom! You're a wizard! With how serious her tou-san voiced it out to be, she was starting to hesitate and change her mind, but with the reminder of the conversation that she and her family had two weeks earlier, she knew that there probably won't be another choice.

Besides, who's going to be keeping her onii-chan in place? With that power, she could probably keep him from dating any other girls, even Irina!

Sana's worries and hesitation started to die down, slowly being replaced with new found determination. In a battle of determination and hesitence, she nodded.

Haryuko smiled, but not because his daughter was going to witness the most painful thing she will probably ever come across, but because her daughter was determined to get that power. He couldn't help but smile seeing his six-year old daughter overcoming her fears to get stronger.

Haryuko grinned and ruffled her hair once more. And for once she didn't mind it. "That's my girl. Now lay down on your back and face the clouds." Sana nodded, and layed down on the rough ground.

She took deep breathes to calm her nerves. So far it wasn't as effective as she'd thought it'd be. Haryuko sat down next to his daughter's sides.

Sana took a deep breathe. "I-I'm... Ready!" She tried to sound as fearless and brave as she could muster, but deep down she was scared shitless.

Haryuko nodded and put a hand on Sana's stomach. He could hear her heart pounding so fast, that it almost made Haryuko guilty for being the one that's going to cause her the pain. With a sigh, he shook it off. He couldn't afford to mess the chant up and possibly kill his own daughter at the process.

He took a deep breath, and raced the lines of the chant over and over again. To be honest, he was more scared than Sana. He could make one false move, one wrong word, a second longer pause, and his daughter would die. This is why only Dragons were trusted to awaken other specie's Aura. Because of their sharp memory, and their presence, only the Dragons were trusted enough to awaken someone's Aura. But even they could sometimes doubt themselves.

One false word can make that person wither away into shreds. A second longer pause can suffocate their entire body. One false line can rip that person's soul. He knew from experience.

With a deeper sigh, he calmed his nerves down and began to focus. His left hand glowed with a neon green light.

He calmed his mind and focused on the chant in hand.

"The sky withers in pain, the ocean's waves flows."

An unexpected force started weighing down on Sana's body. Like what her tou-san said, the force that was crushing her, weighed like a car ten times taller than her. She struggled to stay awake.

"The roses die away, the petals bloom."

Sana's face felt like it was burning on fire. She gritted her teeth to hold the scream that wanted to get out of her mouth.

"The fire exstinguishes, the rocks form."

Her limbs felt like they were being taken away. Sana couldn't take it anymore and began screaming in pain, with tears streaming down her face.

"In the midnight sky, a new flower has been born."

Her bones felt like it was melting away. Sana screamed in agony, as she struggled to even keep her eyes open.

"In your early life, you have been blessed."

Her heart felt like it was going to explode, like a balloon meeting a knife. Sana couldn't even afford to say a single word for her tou-san to stop. The pain was just too much.

"Blessed with this power."

Sana couldn't even comprehend what was going on anymore. Her throat and her eyes felt like it had just been poured with magma. The pain was just too much. How she's still alive is a mystery to Sana.

"For this power, you shall..."

Sana's skin felt like it was peeling off of her. Like someone was cutting all of her skin with a sharp knife. The pain was just too much for six-year old Sana as she yelled out a huge, painful gurgle.

"Change your fate and forge your own destiny!"

That was the final straw. Sana couldn't take it any longer and collapsed on the floor. The pain was too much for her tiny, six-year old body. Her eyes rolled at the back of her head as she collapsed on the ground below her.

Haryuko took his hand away from her stomach and looked at his unconscious daughter. He couldn't help but feel relieved. He didn't mess up the chant like before. Now he doesn't have to suffer with the knowledge of taking his daughter's life because he messed up on a line.

He pressed his hand on her forehead. It was burning and so was her face. He let out a relieved sigh. Without even thinking, his hand glowed azura blue as he placed the hand on his daughter's head.

This was a small, but helpful ability. He could pass some of his Aura down another, to either heal them or give them more energy if they run out. Luckily, since the chant went successful, Sana had finally awakened her Aura up to a level that Haryuko could easily give a fraction of his Aura.

Sana's eyes twitched a little. After a couple of moments she let out a groan that indicated that she was awake. She sat up and looked at her surroundings, like she had just lost her memories.

Sana blinked a couple of times to adjust the brightness that the sun was giving off. "T-tou-san...? W-what happened?" Sana asked, wondering what just happened a couple of minutes earlier.

Haryuko patted her head. "It's okay, kiddo. This was the aftermath after the chant went successfull. You passed out, so I gave you a fraction of my Aura to wake you up." His voice was oddly soothing, a lot different from his usual tone.

Sana blinked. "W-what...? But, I don't remember it. I only remember lying down on the ground waiting for you to start the chant."

Haryuko smiled gently. "It happens to everyone, kiddo. Since your body was re-creating itself, it doesn't remember most of what happened during the chant. You should be grateful too though, as the process was extremely painful for your body."

Sana nodded her head, taking her tou-san's voice to the heart. "So, was it successful? Is my Aura unlocked?" She asked.

Haryuko grinned and ruffled his daughter's hair. "You got that right, kiddo. Now you can be awesome like your badass tou-san!" He points to himself while grinning widly.

Sana giggled a little. "Now, it's time for the real training to start. I will be showing you all of the moves and basics of the Dragon Arts: Meteor Style! Hopefully we can get most of the basics and decent control done in the span of two months. But, seeing as how good of a teacher your father is, it'll probably only take you a month or so. Now, stand up and follow my instructions very closely."

Sana giggled and stood up to meet her father. She was on her way to become like her favourite Anime characters! Sailor Moon, Goku, Naruto! She can become a badass like those guys! And let's not forget about her beloved onii-chan! Now she can defend herself and onii-chan like a cool superhero!

And maybe even drive those stupid girls that keeps fawning on her beloved onii-chan! Or maybe, she can impress him with her soon-to-be cool powers! That'll teach those stupid idiots that keeps looking at him!

She decided to think of her evil plans later as she started to focus on her father's tree walking excersise. Oddly enough, it reminded her of something out of an Anime. She couldn't trace it, but she knew that she watched something that resembled alot like this excersise that her father was showing.

She ignored the thought and listened to what her father was saying. "This excersise is called the Tree Walking excersise. You probably won't be using it very much, but this excersise is quite effective for better Aura control. Basically, you have to use your Aura and manipulate it all the way down your feet so that it's able to stick on the tree without you falling off. Watch."

Sana watched closely, trying to catch every details that his father was giving. Haryuko put his foot on the tree bark. Much to her suprise, her father started walking on the tree freely without the use of his hands.

Her eyes fell out of her sockets. Her father was walking on the tree like it was nothing! Not even the use of his hands! Just his bare feet.

Haryuko landed on the ground with a silent Thud! "Now you try. Pour your Aura down your feet and walk on the tree. Take as much time as you need, and remember, put too much Aura, it'll explode, put too little, you will just slip off. Now, try it." He walked a couple of steps back to get out of Sana's way.

Sana nodded, with determination on her body she poured Aura down her feet, like what her father said, and placed a foot on the bark. The foot sticked perfectly on the tree. Sana's eyes widened and placed her other foot on the bark. It sticked perfectly, again.

Sana felt like jumping in the air and yelling in happiness. Determined that she could do this, she took another step and... Thud! Sana fell off the tree and landed on the ground harshly. She had used too much of her Aura

She groaned in pain as she rubbed the back of her head. She glared at the tree a little before standing up and wiping the dust on her clothes.

'Tou-san said it wasn't going to be easy, let's see about that!' Sana thought, with determination fueling her body.

XX

Finally done! Yes! This was the longest chapter I've ever written and it was 14k long. If you don't think it was very impressive, just watch as it'll get longer later.

Since this story is going to be pretty long, I've decided I want to try and upload atleast every 2 or 3 weeks. If I don't update within a month, chances are that I'm dead or I hate this story.

Since this is still a DxD fanfic, I've decided that I needed to write a list of the girls who will be in the harem. Still haven't decided it on, hope you guys will suggest some thing.

Anyways, I wanted to talk about two things. 1.) Vali and 2.) The Boosted Gear. I've been thinking of what to do with Vali for a while now, and I still haven't decided what his gender will be.

Should I make him a boy or a girl? I dunno. But my biggest concern is what to do with Ddraig. Should I give him to Issei or will that make him too OP? I mean he's already got—getting— Haryuko's power which is almost the exact same.

I dunno. You guys decide with that.

And also big shout out to Basilis for giving me inspiration and this idea. His stories are great, go check him out.

Also, Sana is based off Sena from Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sakunai, just to let you all know that.

Anyways, that is all, next update will probably be next week or the one after that, so keep your computer/phones open as I may update there.

Bye!
