This fic is dedicated to Stevenbomb 3.0... I don't know if I can update this daily but I'll try my best.
Side Note: This is the first time I'll impersonate Pearl for some reason... sorry if I messed up or anything.
And, yep, incoming spoilers.
I never thought it would end like this.
I stared wide-eyed at Sugilite as she wreck the Communication Hub I carefully built last night. The pillars fall apart into pieces and the debris flew everywhere. Steven and I just stood there, ignoring the smaller debris flying on our direction.
My knees begin to shake when I saw Garnet came out from the smoke and ignored her glare as I glanced away.
"Steven" she said stoically, went pass through me and approaches Steven. "Get Lion"
I nervously turned my head around my shoulder and saw him slowly nodded. I quickly turned around when Garnet sharply turns around her head and gritted her teeth.
"I would never forgive you for this" she growled lowly and I cringed at her words. I saw Amethyst gripped her other arm and looked away as my eyes stared at her. She muttered something before she lowered her head down.
"Guys" Steven's voice caught my attention and I turned around. I saw him and Garnet already on Lion's back. I reluctantly walk towards them and rode on Lion's back. Amethyst comes along and Lion roars, opening up a portal and rushed towards it.
As soon as we landed on the wooden floor, I rushed outside while Garnet furiously made her way to the portal and warped of somewhere. The tears I've been holding for long finally ran down on my cheeks as the voice inside my mind speak louder than my other thoughts. I clutched my head tightly and gritted my teeth as I tried to ignore it.
You did it, Pearl, you made Garnet mistrust you.
"Enough" I hissed, clutching my head tighter.
You tricked her. You lied to her. YOU BROKE YOUR PRECIOUS BOND WITH HER.
"Stop!" I shouted and let out a sob. I closed my eyes and angrily wiped off the tears away.
"Pearl?" Steven's voice said as I heard the door creaked open.
"Please, Steven" I said and my voice cracked, "I-I just need to be alone"
"Okay" he said as he closes the door. "I'm gonna continue watching Crying Breakfast Friends"
I bit my lower lip and focused on my breathing to calm myself down. It was never enough to pay for what I've done.
After an hour, I decided to enter the house just as Garnet got back from wherever she went. We walk past though each other silently. I stopped on my tracks and sighed. I want to breakdown in front of her but I knew she wouldn't accept it so easily.
I'm so sorry, Garnet.
