Summary: The Winchesters visit a late night diner.
Mags couldn't see the point of keeping the diner open late, but Geoff paid her good rates for the midnight shifts, so she couldn't really complain. And very occasionally, the dead hours gave something back.
Like now.
They were both tall, well-made guys. Their movements mirrored each other as they slid into the booth with the best view of the exits. Mag's little brother'd had that look when he'd returned from his last stint in Afghanistan; moved like a predator, wary, worn-down and dangerous.
"Coffee's on the house, boys," Mags said.
The short-haired one repaid her with a boyish grin.
