Crossing Paths
(Harry, Hermione, Ron, and Draco are 18, Ginny is 17)
Prologue: Harry, Hermione, Ron, and Draco have graduated
Hogwarts. Ginny has learned somewhat to put up with him through minor miracle, but they all still do not like Draco. Not much has changed in that aspect. Yet... Voldemort still lurked nearby, and had realized that to hit Harry, he must attack those closest to him.
An attack was made on the Burrow, and they all escaped frightened but all right, because though the shack looked rundown, they weren't completely exposed. Charms protecting the Burrow rebounded upon Voldemort, blasting him from the Weasley abode. But Harry and co. didn't forget. So Dumbledore arranged for Harry, Ron, Hermione, and Ginny to leave England and stay in a more remote place in America.
Soon Draco also became endangered. His father perceptibly became insane, and his mother became meek and would not do anything. His father would have sacrificed his only son to Lord Voldemort if Dumbledore had not stepped in and saved him. So now Draco is accompanying Harry and co. to America much to Harry's, Ron's, Hermione's and (kinda) Ginny's dismay.
