This is ridiculously short. It was also a request drabble done for nextstepm on LJ. Also, I don't own the characters or the series the characters belong to. Yeah.
To Yamanaka Ino, one Uchiha Sasuke's words and actions spoke louder than anybody else really noticed.
For instance, to her, when she'd hang all over the boy and 'beg' for a date, she knew his resounding 'get lost' really meant 'I'll see you at seven'.
She knew that the way he rolled his eyes at her and looked away was just screaming 'that's cute', and that when he scoffed just that certain way, it was an act of affection rather than offense.
It was obvious to her that when she snuck a kiss to his cheek when they happened to pass each other walking and he would stiffen slightly and turn interesting colors, it was just an expression of how shy he was and telling her 'not in public!'.
When Sasuke would fold his hands in front of his face and gaze off into nothing, if his eyes were shifted just a tiny bit to the left, he wasn't brooding about his brother at all. He was plotting how he would beat Naruto next. If his eyes were shifted to the right, then he was actually thinking about someone of the opposite sex.
You see, Ino knew this because she was an expert in the field of Uchiha Sasuke, in every way, shape and form. In fact, she was probably the most informed of them all, because she knew that when she leaned in close and whispered her love to him, that scoff of his was really just the way he said 'I love you, too', because even though that billboard-brow didn't see it, the blonde had won the fight a long time ago.
