The old Phantomhive mansion had been uninhabited for years, centuries even. The old house had become a legend in the towns surrounding it. Often you would hear tales about the home's previous owner and how he and his butler's spirits still seemed to hang around the house, death meeting anyone who came to the accursed place.
One cool night a young girl was taking a stroll around the grounds of the estate. She had heard the tales of the grounds but wasn't put off by them at all. In fact she was intrigued by the eerie legend of the cursed noble and his butler cloaked in black. It was said that when Ciel Phantomhive was alive anyone who got close to him would end up no more than a lifeless lump of flesh, even after his death anybody who came near something that had previously belonged to him would die or be sent mad by reoccurring visions of the boy.
The young girl idly wandered around taking in the wonderful expanse of gardens that still seemed well looked after. She walked around the hedges of roses marvelling in their beauty.
"Wow this place is creepy!" she giggled swirling around in a circle. She kept venturing closer and closer to the mansion slowly becoming engulfed in the mass of shadows that surrounded the old home. The closer she got the more the novelty of the tales she had been told wore off. She hadn't been frightened at all that night. Not by the well kept gardens or the inhuman sounds that came from the trees. But once she had gotten to the front step of the house she wished she had never even thought of coming to that place.
Standing at that door step she was reminded of the last group of people who had come to that place. Four teenage boys had come out to the mansion on a dare from a few of the older boys in the town to prove that they were "men". After that night the four boys seemed to disappear off the face of the earth. Three days after searching frantically for the boys, only one of them was found. he was found fumbling his way home along the road that reached the Phantomhive home. He was covered in blood and it seemed that the only words he could utter was "no tresspassing". After tending to the boy, the local lawmen went to the old mansion. There they found the other missing boys hung up on the wrought iron gates out the front of the Phantomhive mansion. Their throats slit and their eyes gouged out.
the young girl turned on her heal ready to make a run for it when she bumped it to something. Her heart stopped when she looked up to find to crimson eyes burning.
"What on earth is a lovely young lady like you doing out at a time like this?" the young girl had that "rabbit stuck in the headlights" look as the man closed in on her." My master doesn't like intruders." The last thing she thought she would ever see was that man and his impeccably clean butler's uniform.
