New beginnings!
Rikki Chadwick, Emma Gilbert and Cleo Sertori are in the Moon Cave on Mako Island. The 3 girls are just standing there looking down into the Moon Pool.
"We been waiting for over a year. Today it's the time!" says Emma.
"Yeah! Are you guys ready?" says Rikki.
"Yeah, let's do this!" says Cleo.
Rikki, Cleo and Emma jump into the Moon Pool. As the light of the full moon shine upon the Moon Pool the water start to move and magical light appears.
A few seconds later the magical light-show is over.
"Okey, I guess that's it..." says Cleo.
"It is, Cleo! We're human again. No more mermaid-stuff, ever again!" says Emma. "Now wer're just regular young women again."
"I'll miss this place..." says Rikki.
"Me too." says Cleo.
"Okey, let's get back home. This is a new beginning for us." says Emma as they climb up from the water and walk through the tunnel that lead out from the cave.
"Feels weird to take this way out..." says Cleo.
"Yeah! For all these years we've always come here through the water." says Emma.
"Nothing can go on forever, girls!" says Rikki.
As the girls get back to the beach they see Zane waiting for them.
"So, girls..." says Zane. "Is it over...?"
"Yeah, it's over." says Rikki. "No more mermaid-secrets or anything. We're regular young women now."
"Okey, girls! Boat's all ready! Time to go home!" says Zane as he get back abord his new black custom-made boat.
"Okey, let's go! Bye, mermaid-life! Hello, future!" says Rikki, Emma and Cleo as they climp aboard Zane's boat.
"Everyone, aboard! Here we go!" says Zane as he starts the boat.
Cleo, Rikki and Emma look towards Mako Island and tears fall from their eyes as the boat goes farther away from the beach.
"We did the right thing, didn't we?" says Cleo in a sad voice.
"Yes, we did, Cleo." says Emma.
"We knew that we had to do it." says Rikki.
"Now we can finally have a normal life again." says Emma. "No more hiding our big secret. No more problem with mermaid-powers goin' crazy. No more mermaid-stuff of any kind."
"It feels nice to be just Rikki again!" says Rikki with a smile.
"True! We're free to be who we really are now." says Cleo.
"So what are you gonna do now that you're human again?" says Zane.
"I'm gonna get myself a job." says Cleo. "GC School for Dramatic Art needs a a new dance-instructor and I was thinking about taking the position."
"I'm gonna continue study to become a lawyer." says Emma.
"I'm lookin' forward to getting married." says Rikki with a smile. "Also I'm gonna take that job at Carver & O'Malley's Auction House."
"Really?" says Zane.
"Something wrong?" says Rikki.
"No, baby! I'm just surprised. I didn't think you'd actually take that job." says Zane.
"But I am, sexy!" says Rikki.
"Then I'm happy for you, sexy!" says Zane.
