A/N: So this is a RP that my friend in America and I did wrote together, on Bebo a few years ago if any of you remember what that is. We've talked about sharing it with people just to see what happens; this is part one as we did two different takes on these characters. She knows that I was thinking of posting and we would love to hear your thoughts on this, not sure how many chapters will come out of these but this is just the beginning…who knows maybe we might write some more to it…I know that I want too.

Oh and I'm Gabriella and She's Cody, it's sectioned into the paragraphs that we wrote to make it slightly easier to read.

Much Love,

Xxx Aby

Cody walked quietly down the halls of the high school, skipping yet another mythology class, not wanting to hear the teacher babble on about unicorns and elves, he walked slowly by each classroom careful not to catch any of the teachers' attention. He walked by English and stopped dead in his track, not bothering to notice the teacher who stared straight at him but noticing the lovely brunette who sat at the front of the class her hair, cascaded down her perfect shoulders, her lips looked so soft all he could think of was what it would be like to press his lips against hers, he took his gaze from her mouth to her eyes- his daydream was cut short when the teacher simply yanked the blind down and continued on with her lesson as a scatter of giggles broke out around the room. Cody chuckled and disappeared out the back doors before the teacher could call a hall monitor to take him back to class.

Gabriella blushed as she saw the boy staring at her. She pulled her hair over her face as the class giggled. She asked for a bathroom pass and stood up in her black boots, singlet shirt and small black jacket that hid her back and the top of her arms and wore black skinny jeans. She walked down the corridor and out to the quad. She felt like the boy had looked right into her soul. It was scary but at the same time she liked it. She pulled her hair back behind her ears and she held her arms around her chest. She'd seen him around but she'd never actually talked to him, he was totally out of her league anyway and she never stood a chance with him.

Cody stood out back, lighting a cigarette, thinking of the girl again. "God she's beautiful" he whispered to himself and took a long drag then looked through the back windows and seen her just as she disappeared around the corner, he put the cigarette out and ran inside hoping to talk to her. She wasn't his normal type to chase he actually never chased girls at all it wasn't his thing. The girls that normally sought after him didn't dress like she did. They wore short skirts, revealing tops and most had blonde hair, but her…she was unlike any girl he'd ever seen, but he had seen her once before but she was with a group in the hall, hanging posters for the school's winter ball, he thought trying to remember if it was actually her. He didn't get close enough then, he was with Katianna at that time. He shook his head remembering the whiny girl and her needy ways. Then he saw the girl again this time calling out to her "Hey!" careful not to be too loud, hoping she'd heard him.

Gabi heard him and turned around looking at him. She looked up at him and then down again as her hands slid into her jean pockets. She looked up at him. "Hey" she said softly as she stood there looking at him. He looked like a total bad boy, but he seemed really nice and sweet, well from when she heard him talking to other people. She waited patiently for some response from him and twisted her foot slightly as she was nervous. He was so hot and sexy and he was completely and utterly out of her league, she even wondered why he would want to talk to her at all.

Cody slowed to a walk, stopping in front of her, she was even more gorgeous in person "Hey... shouldn't you be in class?" he said in a teasing tone. He wanted to talk to her but he didn't know what to say now that she was right in front of him. He ran a hand through his pitch black hair and then shoved his hands in his jeans pockets. She made him nervous, like he was twelve again, talking to his first crush. He chuckled and gave her a lopsided grin as he switched his hands from his front pockets to his back ones, waiting for her response.

She smiled looking at him as she saw his grin. "Shouldn't you?" She challenged back as she pulled her hands from her pocket and ran one through her hair. "I mean it is class time and I'm sure you don't like to fail in school...oh no wait, you wag nearly all of your classes..." she said smirking at him. "I can leave if you really want me to go back to class" she said walking towards him. For some reason she found it so easy to talk to him, normally she strayed away from people, especially guys.

Cody laughed "Yes I should be in class, but the thought of reading about mythical beings doesn't interest me as much as talking to a girl in the hall" he said smirking and hooked his thumbs on the tops of his jean pockets. He chuckled again mesmerized by how easy it was to talk to her and how amazingly breath-taking she was when she did that to her hair "And my grades aren't nearly as good as you think, but I try" he said looking in her eyes, the lopsided grin appearing again, he looked around then at her again, licking his lips "Were you in the middle of something important? Or do you just want to get back to doing something useful, like learning, besides talking to one of the school's bad boys?" he joked and stepped so close he could almost feel her breath on his shirt.

Gabi looked at him. "No it was nothing important...just English but who doesn't know English right..." she said looking up at him. Her hands reluctantly reached up and grabbed his shirt in her hands. "You're one of the bad boys huh? I think you're the only one I want to talk to..." she smirked looking at him. "But surely a bad boy like you already has a girlfriend..." she said letting her hands fall down to her sides again as she looked at his chest. He looked so well built and he would be one of those guys who looked incredible without his shirt on. She shook her head shaking off that thought and moved to lean against the lockers looking at him.

He laughed at her little joke "You're right everyone knows English but some not as well as others" he said as he stepped in front of her, placing one hand against a locker door, the other playing with a strand of her hair as he leaned down towards her "A girlfriend? No I don't have one of those this time of the year" he said jokingly. He looked down, checking her body from head to toe; she had killer curves that sent a shiver up and down his spine, it reminded him of fingertips. He looked into her eyes again, and slowly leaned forward, barely brushing his lips across hers at first then leaned in again kissing her deeper, pulling away seconds before the bell rang. He smiled, chuckling and stepped back, shocked at the jolt her lips had sent through him. Students filled the hall quickly and he disappeared with them, heading off to his next class.

She smiled feeling his lips against hers and she held his side gently. She smiled as she heard him joke with her. She looked at him as he walked off into the flood of students and sighed. He looked so hot and gorgeous not only from the front but the back too his ass was so cute. She ran her hand through her hair again and then headed back to her last class to get her books and then went to her locker to changed them for her other ones and headed to her next class. She couldn't get him out of her mind and if she was being honest she really didn't want to stop thinking about him. She sat down at the back of her next class and opened her books to where they finished last time and then looked out the window still thinking about him.

Cody ran down the hall to his next class, gym. He walked into the noise of the boys laughing and yelling out to each other. He went to his locker, grabbing his shorts and black beater and started to change as his twin Stefan stood next to him changing also "So I see that make out session in the hall got your blood pumping for a little race eh brother?" he said jokingly as he pulled on his grey t-shirt. "I don't know what you're talking about" he said smiling as he pulled on his running shoes. Stefan laughed "right" he said as tied his shoes also. "Right, I'll meet you on the field Stef'" he said walking out towards the track field, he ran a hand through his hair thinking of the girl again, her lips against his. He sighed and started on his leg stretches.

Gabriella sat in class and did her work, well tried although she couldn't stop thinking about the guy that had kissed her that had the softest lips ever. She looked out the window running her hand through her hair as she saw what she thought was the same guy but she wasn't sure as she was too far away. She sighed smiling and went back to doing her work, her eyes trailing out the window every now and then watching the guy who was stretching on the field. She bit her lip sighing as she leaned back in her seat, while she waited for the teacher to say what the next task was that she had to do.

Stefan ran up behind Cody, having already done his stretches. Cody walked onto the track, taking his place, looking back at the school, seeing what looked like the girl from earlier in the hall but he couldn't be sure. "Ready to run?" Stefan asked and Cody nodded crouching down next to his brother. The sound of a pop gun went off and they broke into a sprint running at the same pace at first then slowly Cody started to outrun his twin brother.

Gabi giggled smiling as she saw them start to run, from here she thought they looked the same but she wasn't sure, she saw one start to out run the other and then looked back as the teacher cleared his throat standing next to her. She looked up at him and then back down again and started to do her work. She sighed watching out of the corner of her eye and did her work. She stood up asking for a bathroom pass and left the room heading to the bathroom. She walked in and splashed water on her face. "Get it together Gabriella...he wouldn't like you..." she mumbled to herself as she wiped her face with a paper towel sighing while leaning against the sink. She was so tired. She hadn't slept in ages, her parents fighting and her sisters hanging out with her brother. She was the odd one out and she knew why. Her parents didn't like the fact that she wasn't home until she had to go to bed but she did that because she knew that if she was home her father would end up having a go at her like he normally did.

Cody finished the race and collapsed on the grass out of breath, his brother sat in the grass next to him "I'm getting better" Stefan said smiling as their adopted brother Adam, who happened to be assistant coach for the school's track team, handed them each a water bottle "you're both great, it's just your start off today that seems to have been lacking" He said as Cody opened his bottle taking a large drink and pouring the rest on his head. Stefan laughed "I know why our dear brother's distracted" Stefan said doing the same as Cody. Cody punched him in the arm "She has nothing to do with my running, I had a cigarette before I ran into her" Cody said standing up. Adam laughed and told them both to head off to the showers then to the library to work on their mythology project.

Gabriella fixed her hair and made sure her singlet was still covering her back and her jacket sat over her shoulders and then headed back to her class. She gave the pass back and then sat back down in her seat looking outside seeing them sitting on the ground. She wanted the bell to go so that she could get out of class and just forget about everything. He wasn't going to want her and she was entirely hooked on him for some reason. She sighed and finished doing her work and then closed her book looking to the front of the class staring at the wall trying to not let her eyes drift to look back out the window.

Cody and Stefan both finished their showers and were finishing getting dressed as they talked "So who is this girl that has you lagging in track?" Stefan asked as he pulled a beater out of his locker. Cody laughed as he put on his belt, still shirtless "I didn't get her name, but she's just different from the rest" Cody said as the fire alarm went off and water from the sprinklers started to spray. "Shit!" Cody and Stefan said as they grabbed their gym bags, and ran out onto the field both shirtless and wet. They both looked almost exactly identical, except their hair, pants and shoes were different. Both boys normally wore contacts but they hadn't had time to put them in. So both of their shocking ice blue almost white eyes stood out as girls and female teachers alike stared at the half naked twin boys.

Gabi heard the fire alarm from the gym and she stood up grabbing her bag running outside knowing this was as good a time as any to leave class and head to the very end of the field. She got outside and saw the two boys and smiled biting her lip. She walked towards the field putting her bag over her head onto her shoulder. As she got closer she saw that they looked almost the same, they must be twins. She caught their eyes momentarily and they drew her in, her eyes slowly made their way down their bodies. She felt herself blush as she looked at their chests. She was so totally right, he had an amazing chest. She looked down as she pulled her hood up hiding her face and walked past them towards the back of the field.

Cody saw her walk past them, wondering if he had done something wrong. He put his bag on his shoulder and jogged after her, hoping he hadn't freaked her out from kissing her and leaving like that earlier. Stefan decided to follow not wanting to be left with all the stares, besides he wanted to see what was so special about her. "Hey" Cody said catching up to her, slowing to a walk "Sorry about attacking your face earlier" he teased, a large smile on his perfect face.

Gabi heard him and looked up as he caught up to her. "Hey..." she said softly looking at him. "Don't be, my face doesn't mind..." she said blushing softly and then looked away. "So you're a twin?" she said softly as she looked back at his brother who was still standing there. "Must be nice for you…" she said as she looked at him. She caught his chest again and looked away. It was so unfair, why did he have to be standing there with no shirt on and look as hot as he already did and make her feel like she just wanted to go hide under a rock for not looking like a model, like a guy like him would clearly be interested in.

Cody laughed "Well that's good your face didn't mind" he said and looked back at Stefan who picked up on her nervousness. "Yeaa it's alright having a twin, his name is Stefan by the way" he said and dropped his bag and pulled on a fresh black t-shirt. He looked her up and down again; he wondered if she realized how beautiful she was. "Like he said my name is Stefan, he's Cody in case you didn't know, and yours is?" he asked holding out his hand. Cody chuckled, "Ohh yeaa we didn't introduce each other" he said and picked his bag up, slinging over his shoulder.

She watched Cody pull his t-shirt and jumped hearing Stefan next to her and then looked at them. They both were so beautiful, there was no way they could both be single. She reached her hand out shaking Stefan's hand and then let it drop. "Uh G…Gabriella…M…Munro" she stumbled and looked down at the ground as she kept walking. "Gabi for short..." she mumbled to them. She felt like she was going to pass out from having them near her. Their names suited them in some way. Cody seemed more closed off then Stefan but for some reason she found herself more attracted to Cody than Stefan.

"We're the Saint twins" Stefan said as she walked away from them. Cody looked at his brother then followed her as a petite blonde ran up to Stefan. "Did I do or say something wrong to make you walk away?" He asked watching her expression, hoping he or Stefan hadn't upset her.

Gabi saw him catch up and slowed down a bit. "No you didn't..." she said softly as she looked at the ground. She stopped walking and looked at him. "I'm sorry it's just I'm not use to people talking to me…" she added in a whisper looking down hoping she didn't offend him.

Cody nodded "Ohh okay it's alright if I talk to you though?" he asked as he put in a lip spike and smiled. He ran a hand through his hair "Are you on the dance committee?" he asked remembering when he thought he had seen her in the hall.

Gabi smiled and nodded. "I can handle talking to you; so long as you warn me the next time you want to attack my face..." she said giggling a little as her hands slid into her jean pockets. She watched him put a lip spike in and smiled at him. She looked at him and then sighed. "Um yeah kinda, just keeps me out of the house and away from my parents. I mean my mom is great, it's more my dad I have the problem with..." she said softly before looking back up at him as she bit her lip softly

"Ok, I promise I'll tell you next time" he said chuckling and leaned against the tree. He nodded "I only asked because I think I saw you hanging up flyers once in the hallway last week" he said and sat down. "Yeaahh I don't get along with my father either, guy's a fucking asshole always pressuring me about school and my grades" he said and tore apart a piece of grass.

Gabi looked down at him watching him tearing at the grass. ."…Not that I minded you attacking my face, just a little warning would be nice..." she said softly. "Yeah that would have been me...no one else wanted to do it and I wanted to get out of class so it was a good excuse…" she said softly. She sat down opposite him and took her bag off. "Yeah mines a fucking asshole too, more of an abusive drunk asshole who needs to be locked up..." she whispered looking down playing with her bag.

"My dad never hit us, just pushes us past our limits then pushes us some more" he said and pulled out his street shoes, changing them from his running shoes "I guess he was in the military or something when he was younger that's where he got it from" he said looking up at her, putting his track shoes back in his duffel bag. "Your father should be in jail, a girl as gorgeous as you doesn't deserve to be hit or any girl for that matter" he said remembering the abusive relationship his sister used to be in till his dad said the dude had magically been arrested and shipped out of state. "Yeaahh one of my sisters is on that committee, her name is Casey, real preppy cheerleader type" he said showing that lopsided grin again "She's a real stuck up bitch so I don't know if you'll know her" he said and drew his initials in the ground.

Gabi looked at him and sighed. "Yeah well I guess not every guy thinks so...I guess they get kicks out of seeing girls beaten and broken or in my case in comas" she said softly as she looked around. He was so sweet and gorgeous and hot, she felt so out of place sitting with him. "I know her; she's a bit of a bitch I mean being the cheerleader type and all…" she said as she looked back at him. "No offense..." she said with a small smile on her face as she watched him drawing in the grass. "You know you don't have to stay here you can go back to class if you want too…" she said to him.

"No offense taken, Case' knows she's a bitch" he said laughing he looked at her "nah, I don't mind sitting here with you, class gets boring sometimes" he said looking towards the school as everyone made their way back inside "unless you want me to leave you alone.." he asked looking in her eyes, losing himself for a moment.

Gabi looked back into his eyes and she felt like he was looking right into her soul. "No you can stay, I don't mind...I just wouldn't be able to concentrate in class that's why I came out here..." she said softly to him. She looked down and played with her bag. "But if you think I'm boring you can go inside. I know I am so I won't be offended..." she added.

Cody smiled wide, as he lifted up her chin so she had to look up at him "You're not boring, don't be so hard on yourself Gabs'" he said, the nickname came to him so easily. "I mean Gabi, yeaa if I went back to class there would be no point I'd be too distracted to concentrate on protons and atoms or whatever we're learning in Chem class" he said and let his hand drop from her chin "Fire alarms tend to do that to me" he added on jokingly.

Her body tingled as she felt his hand on her chin. She looked up at him as she felt her eyes lock with his. She smiled hearing him call her Gabs. "Protons, Neutrons and Electrons…" she said softly to him as she felt his hand drop. "Yeah well having a guy on your mind doesn't help when you have to do math and stuff..." she said softly looking down. "But why did the fire alarm go off? Did you set it off just to see me again..." she added smirking at him.

"Yeaa that stuff" he said laughing a little. "No, I was actually getting dressed after I finished my run with Stefan for the track team" he said resting his arm on his knee "This time it wasn't me but maybe next time it might be" he said and winked smiling. "Girls on a guy's mind can be just as distracting as a guy on girls mind, maybe not in the same way but you know what I mean right?" he said, smoothing his hair down and swept it to the side, looking out at the football field.

She looked at him and smiled softly shaking her head as she stood up. "Yeah I know what you mean, and I'll try to believe you…" she said softly. "Well I'll keep an ear out for it then..." she added as she left her bag by the tree and walked further out and onto the field. She looked back at him and smiled. "But if I get wet I'll hunt you down and kill you..." she yelled back to him smirking at him.

He stood up, leaving his bag next to hers also "You wouldn't have to hunt me down" he yelled at her and sprinted after her, stopping in front of her "Because I'd already be a fool and looking for you" he whispered touching his forehead to hers, lightly brushing his against hers, as he looked in her eyes again, a boy-ish grin on his lips.

She smiled looking into his eyes as his forehead touched hers, her hands moving to his shirt again like before when he was close to her. Mainly because she felt like she was dreaming but also so she wouldn't fall over. "You wouldn't be a fool...why would you be looking for me Cody Saint, I'd have nothing to do with it..." she said softly loving the grin on his face. Her eyes closed as she felt like she was going to pass out from him being so close to her.

He smiled watching her then played with a stray lock of her hair "I'd be looking for you to do this again" he said just as her eyes closed and he pressed his lips to hers, his hands moving up to rest on her hips gently. A tingling sensation moved throughout his whole body, from the moment his lips had touched hers, the feeling she was giving him and how gorgeous and easy to talk to she was, was what made him so drawn to her. She had him under her spell and she didn't even realize it.

She smiled as he played with her hair; she'd never had anyone this close to her, well a guy that wasn't trying to beat her that is. Her eyes closed tighter as she felt his lips against hers. Her fingers gripped his shirt tighter as she felt his hands on her hips. Her lips moved against his for a few moments before pulling back. Her head was spinning from his kiss; his lips were so soft and sexy. "We'll that wasn't the warning I was hoping for but it was good enough for me…" she whispered looking at her hands on his shirt and then looked up at him. "You wouldn't need a fire alarm to do that again..." she added softly.

"But it was a warning all the same" he said and kissed her lips quickly once more. He smiled and walked back towards where he had left his bag and picked it up, looking back at her "I have a mythology project I need to get done" he said and started towards the school. "I'll see you later, if not then tomorrow" he said as he walked away, wanting to clear his head a little.

Gabi smiled watching him and kissed him back again and then released his shirt as he turned and walked away. "Yeah, see ya then..." she said softly as he walked away and she went back to pick up her bag and headed in the opposite direction. She put it on her shoulder pulling out her iPod and put it onto Paramore. She walked to the very back of the field; she lay down on her stomach her arms under her head closing her eyes as she slowly drifted off to sleep.

Cody looked back at her, whispering "Yeaa, see ya" he said turning towards the school. His ice blue eye's sparkled from their last kiss. She was a girl he'd never forget, but yet felt like he'd always known her. He took out his iPod as he walked; turning it on to a track he had recorded that previous week, writing an entire song in his head. Always returning to that moment her lips had made him feel more alive than any moment in his teenage life.

Gabi started to dream of Cody, she didn't know why or how but something was telling her that there was more than she was willing to admit between them. Her thoughts were always the same; she would never get to be with anyone because of what her father's done to her. The minute he saw her, the real her he would run away. She slept for the rest of the time until the bell went and jumped hearing it over her music. She rubbed her eyes and stood up picking up her bag and walked back towards the school.

Cody cursed under his breath as he walked down the hall. He had missed his library time, now he had to get to Chem class. He turned off his iPod, seeing that they had to go to a different class or the library. He smiled and walked back towards the library, thinking of Gabriella again.

Gabi ran down the corridor running late for her class. Not that she would be able to keep her eyes open. She walked in apologising to the teacher and sat down at the back pulling out her books. She placed her bag on the ground and grabbed out her pen. She looked around and sighed seeing that she was the only girl in this class. She hadn't really paid attention before. She opened her book and started to take notes rubbing her eyes trying to keep them open, with work, school and the abuse she got, she never slept.

Stefan watched Gabriella enter the classroom, taking a seat behind him; he turned to face her. "You look tired Gabi? The complete opposite of what I'd expect after spending time with my energetic brother" he joked smiling, he now had his contacts in, so his eyes weren't as…startling as before. He unlike Cody hated the stares from girls. Yes, he shared the same exact looks as Cody but his lips were just a little fuller, and his lashes thicker. He wondered to himself how she had caught his brother's heart.

She looked up hearing him and smiled weakly. "Hey Stefan...Well your brother and I didn't really do much just talked mostly...and it's not because of him that I'm tired in the first place..." she said as she looked at him. He was different to Cody, she couldn't understand what girls saw in him, to her he was different to Cody, yes they looked the same but something about him was different she couldn't tell what it was but they were. She then looked back down and wrote down more stuff.

Stefan nodded, seeing her uninterest and turned facing the front, shaking his head "Oooookayy then" he said then moments later switching seats to a desk up front across the room. He was used to being treated like an annoying child after talking to a girl who had just made out with Cody, but he didn't expect that this time, he was a little shocked, not hurt, more irritated than anything.

Cody sat in the library, slowly falling asleep at his table, his dreams coming to life with Gabriella, Vampires, Werewolves and lots of running; it was a usual dream for him.

Gabi looked up seeing him move and sighed. This is why she never talked to anyone because she never said anything right. She looked at him and then back at her book. She slammed it shut and stood up grabbing her bag and walked out of class. She walked down the corridor and out to the parking lot. She got her car and climbed in driving away from school. She headed to her house to grab her work uniform and got changed. She hated the fact that she couldn't talk to anyone her own age without causing some sort of problem. She went back down to her car and drove to the diner. She said that she wanted to start early not interested in going back to school.

The school day ended and Cody walked home, his brother and sisters walking on each side of him. "So I heard during practice today Cody that you're only going after Gabriella Munro to get her beneath the sheets" Casey said fixing her bag on her shoulder. "Yeaa I heard that in my art class today too" Ericka said pulling her hair up in a ponytail. Stefan shrugged "I tried talking to her earlier in class but she kinda blew me off" Stefan said putting his duffel bag up over his shoulder. Cody looked at them all, surprised rumours had spread so quickly already. He shook his head "No, it's nothing like that Casey, Ericka she's a lot more important than that" he said running a hand through his hair "and Stef' I have no explanation for that, but she did say she wasn't use to talking to people or guys a lot" he said as he walked ahead of them, a little ticked by the rumours that had started up.

Gabi stood in the kitchen washing the dirty dishes and wiped down benches. She walked out into the diner and grabbed dirty dishes and piled them into a tray and then took them back to the kitchen. She restocked things and made sure that all the orders were filled. She couldn't stop thinking about Cody for some reason; this guy and his brother wouldn't leave her mind, Cody for a whole different reason to Stefan. She knew she had to apologise to Stefan for her rudeness. Gabi sighed as she got yelled at for not doing the right thing, she went back to the kitchen and started to wash some more dishes and dry them stacking them up ready to be used again.

Cody finished his homework, his brother Adam walking into the room, throwing his laundry and bags on the bed "Wanna go get something to eat Casanova? The diner downtown is still open" he said looking at his watch. Cody leaned back, putting his hands behind his head "Yeaa I could eat some food" he said getting up, putting a red hoodie on. They both walked downstairs, driving down to the diner. They walked in after a group of girls from his school not recognizing an ex-girlfriend of his in the group, staring at him. "Nice, a back booth" Adam said walking back towards it, sitting down, looking at the menu.

Gabi sighed as she saw a table leave and she went out clearing that table so that people who came in could use it. She held onto the tray as she clean up some other tables to and headed back to the kitchen, she saw Cody out off the corner of her eye and she kept her head down. This was the one thing that she was embarrassed about. She was a busboy, well busgirl at the diner that her mom owned only because she wanted to work part time as she still had school and everything. She cleared off the bar and then walked around and wiped it down.

Cody looked at the menu for a few minutes then decided what he wanted and set his menu down. "So little brother, how're your classes going?" Adam asked setting his menu aside also. "Classes are going good, just behind a little in mythology other than that all is well" he lied with a smirk on his lips. Adam leaned back laughing "You know damn well if you and Stefan weren't the best runners in the state you would not be on the track team with the grades you have" he said and balled up a napkin throwing it at him. Cody laughed holding his hands up "Yeaa ok, ok you caught me but who cares? I mean I got another whole year of high school left" he said sitting up straight "Besides I think I'm going to quit track and focus on my music" he said in a serious tone, looking at Adam.

Gabi sighed as she heard laughing and things. She finished doing the dishes and her brother told her to take orders from the tables. She put her apron on and tied her hair back like she had to. She hated it because she had scars down her neck but she was used to the stares by now. She walked out and over to a table as she looked down pulling out her pad looking up. "Hi what will it be..." she said trailing off as she saw Cody and Stefan and what she guessed was the rest of the family. She looked down. "Uh you know what never mind..." she said turning around and ran back to the kitchen and then out the back door. She couldn't face either of them not after the way she treated Stefan and she knew that Cody would know how rude she was. She sat down on a crate her head in her hands wanting to curl into a ball and disappear

Cody looked up seeing Gabriella, his jaw dropped, surprised she worked here. Adam had known Gabriella worked here. Cody jumped and ran after her, he went through the back, seeing her sitting on the crate "Hey, Gabi what's wrong why'd you take off?" he said in a soothing tone, kneeling next to her, putting his arm around her shoulders, pulling her face up to his.

She kept her eyes closed as she felt him pull her face up to his. "I was rude to Stefan...why would anyone want me serving them..." she murmured as she played with her hands. "I couldn't even say two words to anyone without offending them." she stood up and turned away from him. "I don't deserve to be able to talk to anyone let alone someone like you Cody..." she murmured. She sighed and leaned against the wall as she opened her eyes looking at him. "You and your family seem nice Cody but I'm not good to be around..." she said looking at him. "I'm broken and beat up and I have no people skills at all, why do you think I don't talk to people that often. Yet for some reason, I can talk to you just fine. I don't get it..." she said as she looked down at the ground.

He watched her walk towards the wall, leaning back against it "I don't care if you had been rude to my brother, or my entire family for that matter because somewhere in me knows you didn't mean it" he said eliminating the space between them by walking over to her quickly "You might be broken Gabriella, but I'm here to help you fix yourself" he whispered kissing her forehead "I may barely know you but I don't want to lose you, you help me open up, unlike any other girl I know" he said and kissed her cheek "When I'm with you I'm not a complete asshole" he breathed in her ear, like it was a secret then kissed her neck lightly "Don't be so hard on yourself, you are not as horrible as you think and I'm not the amazing perfect guy you might think I am, I have my flaws Gabs' just like everyone else, I only let certain people see that side, like you"

Gabi closed her eyes as she felt him kiss her forehead. Her hands moved to his sides as she listened to him playing with his hoodie. She giggled softly as she listened to him. "Not a complete asshole?"...she whispered softly. She moaned gently biting her lip as she felt him kiss her neck. "I've never thought you were perfect, well not entirely anyway, you're different and that's what I like about you, I just can't figure out why..." she said gently. "I...I don't want to lose you either..." she said as she looked up at him. "I won't be fixed overnight Cody, I have years of damage and shields that won't drop easily...I can't…I'll try to drop them when I'm with you..." she whispered as she looked at him. "I'm sorry I made you leave your family and come after me..." she added smiling softly as she thought of it and then looked down blushing.

"I know you won't be fixed overnight but I can wait as long as it takes" he said trailing a finger down her jawline softly "No one but my brother is inside" he said and kissed her cheek lightly "I'll always be here if you need me" he whispered in her ear. "But I better get back inside before Adam comes looking for me" he said looking in her eyes, kissing her lightly.

Gabi's eyes closed as she kissed him back softly gripping his shirt and then pulled back looking at him "I'll always need you..." she whispered as she took his hand and walked back inside. "I don't want to get you in trouble with your brother..." she murmured as she looked into his eyes as she held both his hands. "I...I, would you stay?" She asked softly as she looked into his eyes.

"Stay till you're off work? Yeaa I can I'll just tell Adam to go ahead and head home when we're done eating" he said holding her hands in his and kissed her again "Don't worry I'll always be here when you need me" he whispered and walked back into the diner.

Gabi kissed him back and watched him walk back into the diner. She walked to the bathroom and splashed water over her face pulling herself together and dried her face off. She walked out and back to where they were sitting. "What would you like?" She asked softly looking at them and then down at the pad waiting for their orders.

Adam looked up at Cody as he sat across from him. "Uh yea I'll have a double cheeseburger with a large order of fries" Adam said and closed his menu. "I'll have what he's having Gabi" Cody said and handed her the menus "Thanks" he said giving her his best smile.

Gabi nodded and took their menus, "Two Double cheese burgers with large fries coming up…" she said softly as she looked back up at them after writing down their order and turned around and then looked back at them. "Did you guys want drinks with that a water or something?" She asked softly as she played with her pen.

Cody looked up at her "Uhh yeaa a coke and what did you want Adam?" he said looking at his older brother "I'll just have water" he said smiling at Gabriella. Cody nodded then looked back when a girl from the group of girls that came in before him called. He ignored then looked up at Gabriella as she walked away.

The group of girls all looked shocked when Cody ignored them "Did he really just ignore you for her?" one of the other girls asked the petite blonde Courtney. "He probably didn't see me" she said in a snotty tone. "But he looked right at you" a different girl said with pitch black hair and grey eyes. "He probably just wants to get in her pants" she said as they all started laughing waiting to order.

"Coke and water, No problem I'll be back with those…" she said softly as she walked back to the kitchen and handed in the order. "Two double cheeseburgers, both with Large fries Lukkan…" she said to her brother before getting Cody's coke and Adams water and headed back to the table. She overheard the other table when they were talking about her and she knew because they always laughed at her, "Your water and coke…" she said putting them on the table. "Your burgers will be about 3 minutes..." she said to them before heading back to the kitchen. She really was over this, every time something good happened something bad was always around the corner. She leaned against the sink as she washed more dishes.

Cody watched Gabriella disappear behind the doors. He put his head down then looked up at his brothers "How's being an assistant working out for you?" he asked as he took a napkin folding a paper orchid. He ignored the girls behind him "It's all right some kids get pretty annoying though, some of the female students tend to try and flirt though" he said laughing.

Gabi finished cleaning up dishes and when their orders were ready she took them out to them. "Two double cheese burgers with large fries..." she said softly as she looked at them. "Can I get you anything else?" She asked softly as she looked at both of them. They didn't look the same but you could tell they were related, the same facial structures could give them away.

"Uhh no this is all" Adam said smiling at her. His smile like Cody's just an older version. Cody smiled "Thanks Gabi this all looks good" Cody said taking a drink of his coke and eating a fry. She still looks as beautiful as before he thought to himself then looked down at his plate.

Gabi smiled at him and nodded. "You're welcome...Enjoy..." she said softly as she turned and walked away to clear empty tables and then went back to the kitchen. "I'm taking my break Lukkan…" she said as she untied her apron and set it down, she got a drink of water and went outside sitting back on the crate from before and sighed shaking her head smiling to herself and then leaned back against the wall looking up at the sky.

Half an hour later…

Cody and Adam had finished eating and were just waiting to pay. Cody wanted to see Gabriella one more time to get her number before he headed home. He looked around the diner just as one of the girls from the other table ran up to him "Um...Cody Courtney wants to know if you can come see her tonight?" she asked looking at the group of girls. Cody sighed and looked at Adam then at her "I have better things to do tonight" he said and she walked away not knowing what else to say. Cody finished his fries and waited for Gabi.

Gabi came out from out back and looked at them. She smiled softly. "Don't worry about it, I was rude earlier, it's on the house..." she said as she looked at Adam and then to Cody. "Hope you enjoyed your meals…" she said softly to them as she leaned against the counter.
