Note:

This poem I wrote after watching at least eighteen hours of the LotR trilogy plus all of it's extended features. This is an original poem, but I do not own anything LotR...that belongs to Tolkien. Reviews Welcome!

Hope of Men

Forged in solid state

Silently it wais very still

Through the trees, darkness come,

for green glades and hills

Once it all was good

There was not a breath or a sound

Along came a token of hate

The hate spread and it bound

Fire and water purged

Many were lost to the shadow

But hope rose in the west fold

And prayed for a good morrow'

Where once a great line stood

A Force now stands once more

To challenge the hate and its master

To knock at the gates of Mordor

Of Fellowship and courage

Where you stand on what you know true

Hope of Men rises

What hope carries you?
